A question for anyone who has Masterpiece Optimus. Has anyone elses axe become kinda tacky/sticky?
I think that's already a sign that the plastic is "breaking up" or close to disintegrating. Are you keeping it in a hot and humid place?

Nope. It's a soft plastic but it's still keeping it's shape/form alright.

Indeed it would. I've never owned a G1 Devastator and don't want to pay out for an expensive original or a badly made KO so an Encore release would be just the ticket.
If it does turn out to be legit I wonder if Encore Aerialbots and Protectobots will be on the cards as then there'll have been 2 combiner reissues per faction?

Don't forget Predaking! Several G1 combiner reissues would certainly go some way to making up for the crappiness of the ROTF Supreme Class Devastator.
The only slight concern would over how the molds are holding up as Encore Bruticus has been reported to have a few problems.

Predaking has already been reissued a few years ago. Don't count on another re-release.
And Bruticus only has issues because that mold has seen a LOT of usage, what with the dozens of Ruination repaints. Japanese, Hasbro, Tigerstripes, Desert, Urban...
