Predaking has already been reissued a few years ago. Don't count on another re-release.:lol

And Bruticus only has issues because that mold has seen a LOT of usage, what with the dozens of Ruination repaints. Japanese, Hasbro, Tigerstripes, Desert, Urban...

BTW, they did it.

Which series was Predaking reissued in?

Intresting info about Bruticus too, I wasn't aware of the previous uses of the mold as I only got back into Transformers just after the first movie came out in '07.

The repaints of G1 Skids look decent and would make a nice set to go with the Deluxe ROTF versions, talk about a contrast in styles!

I have that reissue Predaking, he is pretty sweet. If you guys can pick him up I would go for it, him and all his metal goodness. I am normally a "truck not monkey" kind of guy but there is no denying the awesomeness of the "King".

Here's the information on the reissue, taken from the TFWiki:

Hasbro only released the individual Predacons, but a giftset was available in Japan. In late 2004, Predaking was reissued to much rejoicing of people who could not afford the after market prices on a vintage piece. This reissue used metal parts, and the pieces that were originally soft plastic were now hard plastic.

And yeah, the Bruticus/Ruination recolors were crazy!

Left to right in the top pic:
-Urban camo team
-US version of RiD team
-G2 Combaticons
-G1 Combaticons
-Japanese version of RiD team
-Tigerstripe camo team

And then there's a very rare Japanese repaint of Bruticus that I don't have pics of, and the new Encore reissue...No wonder there is mold degradation!

That explains the reason for the Encore one being a bit dodgy :lol

Thanks for the info on the Predaking reissue too, I like the sound of the upgraded parts so I may consider tracking one down at some point.

Next up for me though will be HA Sideswipe, Buster Prime (x2) and custom repaints of Deluxe Skids & Mudflap.

Ok little bit off topic, but i was watching Iron man last night, ansd i realized sideways was painted the same as tonys R8, i think its cuz michael bay told hasbro "hes an R8, like in iron man" and so the painted him the same. just a theory :D

Would be nice, but it's probably just that it's the most well known R8 colorscheme.:(

I am looking to purchase two busts, one of Optimus and one of Megatron (preferably G1) - which busts would you guys recommend? I would like to keep the busts from the same company so they compliment each other well.

I saw the RTOF Devastator in person for the first time today. It actually looks pretty good, and it's huge -- it's a good 4 or 5 inches taller than Leader Megatron and a lot bulkier. If the vehicles that make him up transformed into individual robots, I would probably get him, but as it is I will wait for him to clearance out. I couldn't tell if he was "anatomically correct." :lol

If you are referring to the Constructicles the stock toy most definitely doesn't have them ( imagine the complaints Hasbro would get from parents! ) but a customiser has made them for his Devastator and they even transform! :D
