Actually both Prime and Megatron remind me of a mix between Classics line and Animated line. Megatron looks unappealing though, especially his body shape..not as threatening looking as the old design,he needs more mass.

Prime looks decent but Megatron is mediocre, what is the alt mode even supposed to be?

The Voyager Class scale would have been far more appropriate for both and I shall be giving both a miss.

Reminds me of his Animated Cybertronian mode. I think his robot mode looks awesome though. OP is looking good too. Can't wait to see Soundwave.

War for Cybertron Prime and Megatron have been revealed! :rock

Could be a bit more accurate, but Prime still looks pretty damn good; hopefully the robot mode will look like that since only the vehicle seems photoshopped. Megatron looks kickass as well, though the arms might work out weird. Still a shame these two aren't getting voyager toys though.

EDIT: Oh, and Megatron does have hands, he's just horribly mistransformed. Each hand is split into two, with the halves hiding in the tank threads. Rather clever, but I hope that it all pegs together snugly to avoid problems.

look so bad ass :rock :rock :rock

definite pickups for me.

Fansproject does it again! I mean, holy ____ is this ____ing impressive or what? Probably gonna run close to 90 bucks though.

That was bloody awful too :lol

The stuff FansProject are doing really makes Hasbro look bad IMO and were it not for stuff like that I think I'd have lost intrest a while back because the majority of official product is mediocre.

Say what you want about Hasbro stuff, but at least they're sturdy. I'm hearing talks about how iGear's Magnus Hammer set and the Ark playset might as well have been made from glass with how easy they crack. Especially the latter is very prone to breaking if you're not careful, and for 120 bucks that is unacceptable.

Been saying the same thing about medicom for a while now.

Hey, anybody know where I might get A Unicron for close to, or less than retaill? My local tru is all out.

There's nothing wrong with the quality of the City Commander armor or other FP products though.

It does however make me concerned about the iGear mini MP Prime and all things considered I think I'm doing the right thing waiting for in hand reports to come in before dropping the cash.

I know, I wasn't talking about Fan Projects. They really make some solid stuff, but iGear is really starting to crack me up. Bloody hell, can you imagine what kind of a nightmare their downsized Megatron will be if they don't improve their materials? And doesn't their Optimus still have some diecast? Will their weaker plastic even support that?

Considering my official MP Megatron has never even been transformed for fear of breakage and I displayed it for about a week before putting it back in the box as I was fed up of it falling over I really DON'T want to think about what one made with lesser quality materials will be like :lol

Hopefully both will turn out nicely but the reports of iGear's other stuff being dodgy despite being such basic items compared to a MP level TF mold means it doesn't exactly bode well.

How much is that FansProject Bruticus upgrade going for?

Prices have yet to be announced, but I think he's going to be around 80 or 90 bucks.

And UK toyfair report, can't wait to see these items at the US toyfair, since the UK one doesn't allow pics to be taken.

Transformers selection was clearly visible through the booth window so I don't see why I shouldn't report what I could see. Not like I signed an NDA or anything.

A lot of the display was current releases - ROTF scouts, HA Bumblebee, Leader Prime.

On display, but not on general release yet, was:
Leader Starscream, ROTF Bludgeon

and more importantly from the new stuff was:

WFC Optimus - looked bigger than deluxe, more like Voyager size
WFC Bumblebee - awesome vehicle mode, and even more awesome, metallic gold paint/plastic
Universe Seaspray - ultra sized I think, since it was bigger than ROTF Bludgeon that it was next to. Looks just like a huge version of the original Same blue and white and yellow for the turbines. Very nice.
Some new G1 style legends - I think I saw a jeep, Outback maybe? or Swindle?, It was khaki coloured but the view from the booth window was too far to see the smaller toys
Some kind of combiner - could have been power combiners, but looked to me more like it was built from Legends sized figures - and it was definitely not Devastator. One of the legs looked like a jet or shuttle of some kind. Could be a Legends Bruticus set? Was very lanky and with wiry limbs, but humanoid in shape.
'Leader' ROTF Bumblebee or whatever it's going to be called

Also visible through the Hasbro window was some Marvel Universe stuff, but nothing new and no Iron Man 2 that I could see.

Also saw the A-Team figures on another booth. Not bad likenesses of the new actors. Still hate Neeson as Hannibal though.

Funny that Mattel or Mattel distributors are totally absent from this fair. No wonder you can't find Avatar toys anywhere.

people are having trouble finding avatar toys?
here in Columbus it's shelfwarming like crazy, and the local toys r us put the vehicles/monsters on the clearance isle.

Yeah, but they're not being sold at all in Europe. Really pissed off at that myself, I wanted that mech and helicopter. :(

EDIT: Another update.

* Animated will get 'phased' back into the UK in late 2010. Probably.
* New RPM molds including Drift
* RPM Bumblebee track set
* RPM Stealth Force - deluxe/voyager size vehicles with fold out weaponry. Doesn't sound like they transform
* ROTF toy line name will be dropped, re-branded just as "Transformers"
* Power Core Combiners is a "Transformers" sub-line
* 2-packs and 5-packs can be combined together
* One of the 5-pack combiners is a new Bruticus!
* Seaspray is a boat with room for Scouts on his deck

WFC Prime being bigger = AWESOME!

Universe Seaspray = AWESOME!

Animated will "probably" be phased back into the UK late this year = Time to ask a few overseas contacts to get the last ones as that's almost certainly Hasbro-speak for "We have no plans to bring them over" :D

First pics of deluxe movie Ironhide, voyager Seaspray and PCC Bruticus! The latter looks a bit movie-ish so some might not find him all that appealing, but I rather like him myself.

Hasbro, let the movie toys die.
I was under the impression that seaspray was a G1 design?
