I can't wait for my favourite Decepticon--- heck, my favourite TRANSFORMER (period). (end of sentence)
I always hated Starscream, he was always such a weasel, but then again that was part of his charm and part of what I also loved about him. Always trying to backstab Megatron for power. :D

:D Jason, you are right, when compared to the original G1 Megatron, the Masterpiece blows it out of the water, you will never get a better representation of Megs in a Transforming toy than this.

I'll respectfully disagree.

I'll still take my G1 Megs over the MP Megatron. :monkey3

MP Megatron is too fragile and literally falls apart in your hands.

.... And as far as the Classics line goes, if you get tired of the ugly Megatron colors, you can always do a repaint such as this person did:

That looks great.

Another trick to make the Classics Megatron better is to remove the "wings." There is a small pin that hold the wings onto his back. Just take a hammer and tap out the pin. The best part about this modification is that you can still transform Megatron and just "snap" the wings back on to him. It works rather well if you have no painting skills like me. :lol

I was hoping this wasn't too difficult. I know what I'll be doing later. Cheers.:D

I think maybe my affection for the character might also be tied to the fact that he was the first "big" G1 toy that I was given. I still remember going to the little corner store in St. Andrews, Scotland (where I was living when I first became exposed to the robot virus:D) and buying my very first Transformer toy-- Windcharger!

:rock:rock:rock

Not sure--- I'm in Canada...
But I did pop across the border to my (collector) friendly US Wal-Mart and pick up.... (drum roll) an

ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE

Pics to come... But guys, if you see him--grab him.. He's frickin' awesome! Now I wish I had bought the second one there so that I could leave one transformed in car form and the other as a robot.:D

Just went across the border and bought the other ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE that was there!

Now I've got one to leave in robot mode and the other to leave in car mode (which I'll do once the little one is having her afternoon nap). Pics to come!!!

Nice Neil!! Can't wait to see your pics!! :rock

I had to take one picture of the two of them together--- and yes, that's Hot Fuzz playing in the background (with commentary:D).

As they will be forever displayed--- (well, on a different shelf obviously--that's a desk:D).

A little better look at the light up action.

Which one is the ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE? Can you tell? It's subtle.

An evolution--- my original 1984 Bumblebee... Ahhhhhhhh--isn't he cute.

Sometimes size does matter (sorry P!TU...:D)
