can anyone forward me to a link or some pictures of an optimus prime figure which is the CLOSEST replica to the one portrayed in dark of the moon? I'm not really interested in his vehicle peterbilt mode, just his robot form. I'm quite new to the scene so I'm kind of lost when it comes to the many different classes of figures in the transformers universe.

I'd prefer if the figure was a poseable action figure rather than a statue/maquette like the popbox one. I've seen the ultimate version and it doesn't look very much like the movie one. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a similar figure in the previous transformers movie series with this degree of replica? THis is really what I was looking for. And how big is it? Is it made of plastic all over?

nah, it's a revoltech, so it'll be available all over the world. Big bad toystore is going to carry it, eventually.
This is the first MOVIE revoltech, they will likely do one or two more.

they did do G1 version of Prime, Megatron, Starscream, White Prime ( ultra magnus w/o armor) and hot rod as well. the g1 figures are around 4 inches. revoltech figures range in size from 4 to 6 inches. sh he will be somewhere in that scale.

Thanks for the pictures. What I meant though was not the animated cartoon movies but the recent 3d movies between 2007-now. Like the first Transformers movie and ROTF.

4-6 inches is pretty small. Amazing articulation to be able to pose that much though. I'm thinking about preordering the link you showed me earlier. Are Revoltech figures good overall/reliable?

Also is it just made out of plain plastic and they're ready made 4-6 inch figures?

as long as you're careful with them, and not ham-handed, they'll be great. they hold poses very well. REvoltech joints are ratchet joints, and the figures ( as you can see) are able to get some amazing poses.

so far DOTM prime is the only bayformer to get one.

I think for the price you're paying for a Revoltech just go the extra mile and get DMK01. The prices are double, but Revoltechs are super small and DMK01 is larger and more detailed.

I was thinking the same but I got priority purchases from hot toys that's holding me back and afraid I won't find one. But if the DA-28 is like Buster Prime and cost $120 I won't get the DMK.

my thoughts as well. i just cant have a tiny prime...he's too small.

cant wait for my DMK prime to arrive!
