Actually, err..the leg panels are more sturdy though i had no issues with my Takara version, i find the arms don't fit as good in alt mode as my Takara version. The visor seems to be tighter, he does feel a tad more durable then the Takara version...oh, uhh the back part on mine doesn't clip very well, actually on both they don't really but, my Takara version holds better i think. The hands on the Hasbro version hold the guns better.

Dr.Who toys = import= $$$

Since Hasbro is a American/Canadian company we pay less you pay more..with CO you pay less we pay more...pretty sure.

Check this out..XD

I think you may have mentioned it once or twice, Dubs. :lol

Aw man, all I see is redX. :(

Got my Thundershred today (you were right, Nick, TFSource ships FAST).

I'm super-happy with him. Lots of articulation for such a stocky bot. I was a little disappointed that his wrists don't swivel but a very cool transformation process wiped that away. I'm not an expert on modern TFs but his legs do what I always think of as The Windcharger Maneuver but as you are folding them over, his arms actually go inside his legs. Not rocket science, but I had never seen that before. Overall awesome toy.

Looks great, Yo! Did you have any problems slotting his blades in the holders? The blades on the one I saw the other day were a bit too big to slide in all the way.

Thanks!

They feel like they aren't going to go in but then they pop into place. I think the resistance is intentional.

My only nit with him is his shoulders are a bit loose because they are very intricately articulated - I wouldn't know how to begin describing it. But it hasn't kept him from holding poses. Or posies, for that matter.

Fansproject is currently my favorite TF producing company.

Yeah, I had the shoulders pop out during transformation. I found the design to be pretty weird in that area. Aside from that, like you said, added wrist articulation would have helped overall. Still, cool ass figure! I love when my brother comes over with stuff like this.

Springer turned out very cool too.

Snagged an MP Rodimus by sheer luck this weekend. Was browsing the Texas sightings thread over at the TFW2005 forums and one guy posted he had hidden one behind the Green Lantern stuff at my local TRU about 4 days earlier, so I ran over there and bam! There he was. Got lucky.

Also snagged an Ultimate Optimus Prime last week because, quite frankly, I can't say no to a Prime toy. Ever.

Nice pics!

I have all the Insecticons pre-ordered and am just waiting for Kapow Toys to get their stock.

I'm also waiting for their shipment of TFC Exgraver so maybe they'll send that out in the same package as Stormshred.

I forgot about the wrists - since he doesn't hold his weapons in his hands it's not as bothersome as I thought it would be.

Nice ninja swipe on that Roddy! Also a very sad statement about the interest in Green Lantern toys. :lol

I just started using Bigbadtoystore's Pile Of Loot to save on shipping. It adds up!

I took some time to open up some figures today...

Buster Prime= Awesome and a very satisfying transformation.

Hercules eXgraver= Solid, if you're on the fence do it. Think of the bigger picture (Devastator) and you'll see they're worth it. TFClub isn't as nice as FP but they've stepped up their game here.

I also got in my NOT Shrapnel, but it's late so I'll open him up tomorrow. :lol

EDIT: Nice pictures Thom.

Looking good!

Even if the doom mongers turn out to be right ( unlikely ) I'll still end up with 4 kickass Constructicons in my Decepticon display which is more than I have now.

YoNoSe,
BBTS Pile of Loot system is a great idea. Kapow Toys here in the UK do something similar when it comes to shipping stuff although they take the cash when you first order.

Did anyone get both the normal and SDCC Ultimate Primes? I was wondering if there was any difference with the figures themselves?... SDCC box was really sweet though!

Also, did anyone else pick up the Transformers Prime SDCC Optimus Prime? For a small TF I really loved his transformation. Overall he's very cool with the exception of his shoulder joint, which works weird when you move his arm to face forward.

EDIT: Nice pictures Thom.

Thanks, Nick. If you come across a Perceptor in the wild I will gladly take him off your hands!

They are not making it easy to resist.

That's how I'm starting to feel. I really like the chunky G1 look of these guys.

Was he part of the Kup wave, Yo? They restocked the Kup, Wheeljack wave at my local Target so if that's the one I can take a look in the next day or so.

I'm not sure - they mixed up the assortments a lot from what I've seen on BBTS - but I would appreciate it if you take a look next time you're there! :duff

So these "doom mongers" you speak of. . .they are suggesting that the final 2 Constructicons won't be made at all??? Not sure I want to be all risky spending $400 toward an expected Devastator if the whole shebang isn't a lock. . .

I believe Perceptor was part of the RTS line, so no he isn't in the Genereations case assortment. I am going to a local meet-up this Sunday, I'll ask my fellow TF dorks if they have one. What's your limit Thom? Price-wise?

WTF?!?!? All I see is a redX at work. I'd ____ a kitten if they don't finish off the line, then we'll need a 4th party company to fill in the gap. :(
