A Transformers painting I did for a friend...it was 8' x 4' and every bit the pain in the butt to work on you could imagine.
The end result must have been very satisfying though 'cos it looks fantastic!

My one complaint about these new Constructicons is that, well, they look like cheap Hasbro toys from a production perspective. I guess we shouldn't expect more than that for various reasons, but at $100 it would be nice if they looked like they would run more than $15-20 if it was mass produced and sold at Wal-Mart.

Well, when I say that they look like production quality Hasbro toys I'm not saying they look like dollar store KOs. Make no mistake--I'm all about the 3rd party stuff (and will likely buy each of these Constructicons) because, as I said before, I think they're giving a certain fan-base (self included) stuff that Hasbro/Takara is unwilling to. They are expensive, yes. Even over-priced for what they are, putting aside the fact that they must cost much more for these companies to produce and might even bring in less revenue than a typical Hasbro figure does. But this is the closest thing we may get to a BIG, G1-like Devastator that looks sort of like he looks in the cartoon/comics and transforms into smaller robots and vehicles that similarly look like they did in those other media. As such, you choose to deal with their flaws, you choose nothing, or you choose this hideous abomination:
I'm leaning toward the first option:
But yeah, I'm not gonna argue that these are perfect.
people who take TOYS that seriously are tools anyway.
I would be as giddy as a school girl if I could get the equivalent of TFClub's Devastator for, say, $120 from Hasbro over $600 from some 3rd party company. In general, I'm not a fan of companies. I'm a fan of products. And whoever gives me the best product is who I'll like best at a given time.if Has/Tak can come up with some good stuff that's not related to Bayformers or the Prime cartoon then I'll consider buying it.

TFC have announced that the first images of Bonecrusher & Mixmaster will be released on August 21st.
So all the idiots saying they wouldn't be made can finally STFU
It won't shut anybody up. They'll just switch to "I'll believe it when I see it LOL" nonsense. And when one gets delayed it'll be Chicken Little time.
You can always count on internet negativity to find a way!
Has/Tak wouldn't consider him important enough a character to get his own mold and he'd end up as a repaint of a mold made for another character with only a passing resemblance to the source material.

I wouldn't say that. Who ever thought we'd get original molds for guys like Drift, Straxus and Thunderwing?
I still look forward to buying him and any other Wreckers that iGear come out with though, as long as they have a somewhat reasonable pricetag.
