Dude I cant say this enough. I cant barely look at half the stuff hasbro puts out tht they call transformers...the 3rd parties are where its at for sure.

Right now the only official product I have any intention to buy in the forseeable future is Masterpiece Sideswipe and even that is subject to whether the scale will fit in with my overall display.

This morning I recieved iGear's Masterpiece Skywarp and the Justitoys World's Smallest Shockwave which is my first ever version of the character :)

Haven't had chance to open Skywarp yet but he looks great and Shockwave is now being held by TFC Devastator although thanks to the April restocks not happening he is still missing an arm and a leg

I dunno. Some of that Fall of Cybertron stuff looks pretty cool.

Even Bruticus is kind of growing on me... but I haven't yet delved into videogame figures, and I'm not sure I should or will. I've got a G1/classics type display, and now Beast Wars, Animated and Prime (although I'm only getting the main show casts for the first two)... I don't want TFs dominating everything!

I have a G1ish type display with Classics figs and some of the WFC look great with them especially Megs. I'm excited for the FOC line. Bruticus may grow on me more after I see figs personally, but the colors kill me.

My display is presently being whittled down into as many characters from the first 2 cartoon series in as close to a realistic scale as possible.

So that means Masterpiece scale Seekers, Voyager scaled Constructicons and Deluxe Autobot cars.

There'll always be a few oddities like Soundwave and Reflector but they stay in robot mode so it's not really a problem.

I just look at toys like FOC Shockwave or the WFC Prime and Megatron and think how much better they would have been had they not fallen victim to Hasbro's cheap ass "Deluxe only" policy and been bigger....look how intimidating MMC's Hearts of Steel Shockwave looks when displayed with smaller characters.

FOC Shockwave wouldn't have to be quite that big to achieve the same kind of effect but we'll never know as Hasbro needed to save a few bucks and he's another Deluxe :slap

I've had a mess round with iGear Skywarp this evening and he's great, I just need Reprolabels to do some G1 wing stripes for him as well as the stripes for all the tailfins on the Seekers and I'll be set....never thought I'd have 7 versions of that mold but the mod iGear made makes a huge difference to it's fun factor and their pricing isn't bad either.

I also got a refund on an Amazon order that never arrived earlier which I've used to order the hardcover edition of "Last Stand of the Wreckers" :yess:

With transformers I don't think I could ever have a centralized display. I have movie figs, g1, beast wars, beast machines, cybertron, energon, armada, WFC, and now TF Prime. I just can't sell or downsize my transformers.

When I started collecting TF's again in 2007 I dabbled in pretty much every main line except for PCC's, DOTM & Prime but since the 3rd parties came to the forefront I've slowly but surely narrowed things down and I'm quite ruthless when it comes to downsizing.

Sometimes it's because I need to raise a bit of cash towards something new or other times it's because I need to create a bit more space but once I've decided something's for the chop I rarely change my mind.

The only real drawback is my OCD may get the better of me on the scale thing as I've been starting to look at getting rid of great toys like Henkei Cyclonus & United Scourge as they now look a bit silly next to the Seekers and Coneheads....I'll have to get a seperate shelf for those.

I have my movie display and classics display, and thats basically what I'm working to finish up getting right now.

As for WFC Prime and Megs I love those figures! Totally know what you mean though by wanting them to be bigger.

TFC Toys Generation1 "Arielbots" Superion? In for that

Its going to be the same Size as Hercules

Sounds like they'll be offering a subscription model like MattieCollector, too.

Transformers Prime

Deluxe Dead End (Wheeljack repaint)
Deluxe Shadowstrike Bumblebee
Deluxe Airachnid
Deluxe Rumble
Deluxe Kup (Ironhide repaint)
Voyager Breakdown
Voyager Thundershot (new character, beastformer pirate)

Generations 2013
They'll start out with FOC figures, tying that into the 2012 Generations line. After that, they will move towards other toys, including more comic characters. The toys shown were:
FOC deluxe Kickback
FOC deluxe Sideswipe
FOC deluxe Starscream
FOC deluxe Fireflight (Shockwave remold)
FOC deluxe Ultra Magnus (Optimus remold)
FOC voyager Soundwave with Laserbeak
FOC voyager Soundblaster with Buzzsaw (Soundwave repaint)

There will be Legends class figures of Ravage, Rumble/Frenzy and Ratbat that can be used with Soundwave. I would be more excited about this if it was a G1-styled Soundwave though. Bit weird to have a WFOC figure that's taller then the others and isn't Grimlock.

Oh, and game accurate Bruticus will be released after all....But it will be a SDCC exclusive. The neon-colored one is the mainline release. :slap:slap:slap:slap:slap:slap

MP-10 will see a US release, as a TRU exclusive. And it will come with the trailer! And long smoke stacks! :horror:yess:

Classics Arcee has pretty much been canned in favor of the Prime version after all. They're looking into making a figure of Springer, though. FOC Dinobots were asked about, but all they said is that they're awesome and that all five would be hard to do. I'm guessing that we'll likely see a voyager Grimlock, at the very least. If Bruticus does well, they'll try and make a Devastator, as well.

No pics for the Hasbro stuff, same as always.

Well pretty good news. Definitely glad to hear about the MP-10 release, and the Generations line looks great.

As for game accurate Bruticus WTF? I'm gonna try and get that but thats the dumbest decisions ever. Devastator just isn't gonna happen if thats the case, but thats fine since I have Hercules.

I hope we get the Dinobots

iGear's Arcee may have cost a bit but it's about as accurate to the source material as can be and unlike the Hasbro one....it exists :lol

Hasbro's claim about Springer is suspiciously similar to how questions about Classics Arcee were handled so they're probably talking BS there as well....anyone looking for a decent Springer should buy Warbot while they can still get it for a decent-ish price.

As for the other FOC toys,

Deluxes = Not intrested.

Voyager Soundwave & Legends class minions = I'm mildly suprised that they're actually making a Voyager Class toy in this line, let alone minions to go with it but it's too little too late to get my cash....Fans Toys Soundwave for the win.

Dinobots = All five being "hard to do" is Hasbro speak for "We'll make Grimlock but if you want the others you're SOL" :)

It's also kind of a shame that TFC have chosen Superion as their next combiner as it wouldn't fit in with my display as all the jets would be too small but I have no doubt it will look decent.

So my wants list is basically unchanged from before Botcon which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it will free up some spare cash towards other things.

Coming soon from the same company that's making Hegemon,

Throttlebot Rollbar!!!!

And it looks like he's only the beginning!

I wonder how accurate those outlines are though as none look like a VW Beetle or a dump truck which were the alt modes of Goldbug and Wideload.

Still, it's great to see yet another G1 group being brought into the modern era in terms of articulation and detailing without being reimagined beyond all recognition or being reduced to lazy rehashes of pre-existing molds.

just read about the MP-10 release here in the US! :rock

and with all the goodies that the Takara one comes with and less than half the price! :yess: it will be mine!!!

US MP10 looks awesome. Color isn't that big of a step back from the Takara version (just lacks the silver on the trailer), and that it has all the accessories, trailer included, is a very nice surprise. The price tag will apparently be around $100 bucks, which is a great deal when compared to how much the Takara one cost.

Bruticus looks pretty damn good too. The proportions still look a little weird, but the colors really make it work. Such BS that this version will be a SDCC exclusive.:(
