Spent some time folding those damn pink paper boxes for the energon cubes. Not too bad once you get the first done :)

Here are the bad boys guarding their stash!

Man its a shame they screwed up the color on that Starscream, it would have been awesome otherwise.
It looks like an unpainted movie toy like that, such a shame.
Great pic though regardless.

Screwed up the colours!?! When I look at it against the cartoon, it looks pretty good to me! Where do you think they screwed the colours? In the grey, blue, ...??? I thought MP-11 was more cartoon accurate than the original release......

Well, i know the original G1 toy was that color, but i seem to remember in the cartoon and movie Starscream was more of a bright grey, almost white.
That's why the original Hasbro release was white wasn't it?
In any case, i don't like the color as it just reminds me of an unpainted movie toy, like leader ROTF Megatron.

Here's what i mean:

He was white no?

I dont take that to be grey, and in lots of shots in the cartoon, it was a more darker grey. Also in almost every shot where you see Starscream and Megatron together in the cartoon, the shade of grey is pretty much the same, and I dont think anyone would think Megatron should be all white!!!

I've attached just one example! Here Megatron would be all white going by your logic!!

Each to their own I guess :) Pretty amazing figure either way.

Maybe not white per se, but definitely not the same color as the MP toy, least not to me. If it was closer to the pic you posted with Starscream and Megatron id be happy, but to me he looks too much like this:

Design wise though yeah he's nice, cant wait to get my Thundercracker version. (at least his colors are more to my liking)
Its funny how they have copied the KO versions solution to the hip kibble, which the KO makers just copied from and artist named Wheeljack.

I was going to pick up the Thundercracker, but all the weird decals ruined it for me, so I passed. I'm hoping Takara release TC and Skywarp in the MP-11 mold one day!

He was grey in the cartoon.I know because the past few months ive rewatched the 4 seasons and trust me,i paid alot of attention to the robot designs because i was currently chasing down the best looking toys out there. There were some colour differences on anything from time to time but Starscream was grey.He rarely appeared white, only a couple of times.
This latest MP is the best presentation of him so far imo.

I'll have to disagree with you on that one. Do a basic Google search for him and you'll see he is more of a whitish light grey than dark boring unpainted plastic grey.
How can you argue with screenshots?

*Edit*
Its more of a case of 50/50 for both arguments, in some images he appears light grey/white, in others he's slightly darker white/grey, highlights almost always appears as light grey/white though.
Personally i prefer a bit of effort to go into the colors on my MP's and dull unpainted grey plastic isn't satisfactory on a "high end" toy like an MP. But that's just my preference, good for you if you like him that way but im sticking with my Wal-Scream unless they release a properly painted version of MP-11, has it had a Hasbro release yet? Hopefully if it hasn't that'll be the one for me.

I dont need to search google.Like i said,i rewatched the cartoon a few months agoo so i know how he is supposed to look.Look at Igear Thundercracker too, light blue because he appeared like that sometimes, while he was dark blue most of the time.Same with Optimus,so i wouldn't say either is better than the other.
Even Skywarp appeared dark grey sometimes.

MP-11 is the best we got so far.But i do know what you mean about the cheap grey plastic look, you're not wrong.

Yeah that's my only issue with it, as i love the way they took the original seeker mold and improved it, im not denying the engineering improvements, i just don't like the (appearance of) lack of paint on MP-11

Does anyone know who has MP-13 in stock and ready to ship. I pre-ordered from TFSource, but now they're telling me that I'll be getting my figure towards the end of Feb, early March.

For MP-11 Takara just went back to their original design for MP-03 before Kawamori got involved and decided to make the jet mode more important than the robot mode. They didn't look to iGear for inspiration as they had already designed it that way back in 2006.

There's a pic of the original mold for MP-03 here from 2006:

https://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/alternators-10/new-prototype-images-of-mp-03-masterpiece-starscream-4765/

It even has the same design used in MP-11 for moving the null rays from wings to arms which MP-03 as released doesn't have. The only thing Takara changed from that original MP-03 design when it came to MP-11 was the head and the way the 'ears' pop out of the sides.

Not sure, but I'm in the same boat as you are waiting for TF Source's second batch.

Ah yes i forgot all about that, i stand corrected then.

So had a bit of a tinker with my MP13 today & grabbed a few more shots...

I dont like how starscream has detail on his arms and shoulders...legs even..i know that sounds *** backwards...but the cartoons were smooth with no detail..blocky and smooth..I would love a version of starscream like that.
