Thanks for uploading this. I was curious as to what the differences between the TRU version and the reissue were. The Asian version looks pretty sharp, no pun intended.

But if you can afford it, go with Takara.

No one will deny the TRU version is the better deal, but Takara has better - albeit, only marginally so, really - paint apps. Really up to you if you think that's worth it, though. I'm not even sure myself, yet.

Cool. I just figured it'd save you the trouble in searching and paying extra for the Takara version of the tapes. Though you can probably score some loose versions for the TRU ones.

And yes DPrime, the Takara versions are sooo worth it.

I put my two Soundwaves side by side tonight, and I was surprised at how similar they are. Even the little sparkly bits in the paint are pretty much the same. The gold trim is very similar.

Apparently they are.
Nothing, absolutely nothing here in UT though. There was a single sandstorm that i was able to snag (not very impressed with the color, idk if ill keep him yet). Luckily I have the takara version, and was able to finally get all the cassettes.

They should at least be consistent. My friend that works at a local TRU says they NEVER received any MP 10's. there's also another TRU i go to, supervisor says he's never seen one. I know it must be hard to anticipate which items will sell best. But it's a given that OP IS going to be in high demand.

He might be holding back, so he can resell em on eBay.

Got generations IDW Orion Pax and Megatron today. I kind of like these two and somehow they seems a bit more detailed that some of those current FOC generetions figures. Too bad there isn't voyager class Megatron coming, because this isn't bad version of Megatron.
