Look what they used to cost. I remember these on the shelves as a kid. I coveted so many Transformers then. Also, back then, the way inventory worked was different. You could walk into a store like Sears or PayLess and you'd have stacks and stacks of toys on huge shelves. It's not like today, where it's maybe 50 figures total for a single line. You could have 50 GI Joe HISS tanks just sitting there in a big pile on a big shelf. And that was just one vehicle. When people talk about a big wall of toys in the 80s, they were not kidding. At certain places, you could see 400-500 of those original run Star Wars figures just stacked onto pegs on whole aisle side by themselves.
