SDCC Soundwave was finally back in stock earlier today and I was able to get one. I also got the SDCC Mighty Muggs Prime, Mighty Muggs Wolverine, Marvel Universe Captain America and the GI Joe Destro 2 pack.

People ^^^^^ about how chubby these guys look but I think they're badass. I think the Alternity line is the best line going for TFs.

Where are the AutoBot logos on those figures?...they look alrightish..i think Classics line BumbleBee is the best figure of the character yet..the Henkei version even more so.

Been busy so I still haven't shared up any of my customs or gotten into much discussion here. Just wanted to show some support for this custom though. Mench0y is an admin over at Sector70 with me and quite a few others and I've been watching him create that for the better part of a year (or more). I know there are some Classics Prime figures in there (voyagers) and tons of Zoids figures/parts. You can also check it out in my signature over at S70. This combiner is the best one I've ever seen from anyone and I highly doubt we'll see something surpass this anytime soon.

As for the Alternity line discussion--I like 'em, but I'm just not feeling Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. They don't necessarily look chubby, but the large chest/abdomen/crotch region is just too much. They still look cool in bot mode, can't stand the alt mode (never been a fan of those types of cars), but I prefer the Classics style over these. Still diggin' the Convoy and Megatron Alternity figures though. Just not sure if I'll drop an cash on 'em.

I'll be ignoring Encore 18 (Skids) but definitely looking forward to 19 (Big Mission Set 3). I'm really, reeeeally hoping they can reissue the Dinobots, that would be the absolute bomb, or at least some more gestalts.

I've been saying this for years.

Classics/Universe, Animated, and the movie figures lack good faction symbols.


The only line that has been doing it well is Henkei.

I definitely like HA Skids over BB and Sideswipe. What the HA line need is Henkei paint job, rubber tires and some diecast and it will be a masterpiece.

IMO the single biggest improvement that could be made to the HA figures would be properly articulated hands because the open palms don't work very well for many poses.
