JOIN THE MOVEMENT

from Bodie The Cursed

Yao ming is slow and has no endurance..

On the speed issue I would agree with you that he is no race horse and certainly would not win a track meet but we heard the same thing from the detractors of Larry Bird and look where he ended up. As far as endurance, he does play some 33 minutes per game which is rather good for a starting center. Thats up two minutes from last year. I would say that his fourth quarters can sometimes be a bit lackluster.

However, last night he helped his team beat the Lakers with 39 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. For the season he is averaging 24.5 points per game, 9.5 rebounds and his teams W/L is improved.

Depending on who Houston draws in Round One - you could be right if its Phoenix or the Mavs. If not one of those two then I would give the Rockets a more than even chance of advancing.

And since this is an IDOL thread - I see that the Top Ten finishers get the money to go on a summer tour of arenas and fairs. So the hated boytoy Sanjaya will still be around for at least five more months in the public eye.

Last night was easily the best episode yet!

Blake was INCREDIBLE.

Best performance of the year!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted more and plan on downloading his performance. (mp3)

:rotfl I liked how Ryan Seacrest even alluded to Chris as Timberlake. :lol

I thought baldy did a great job on his Bon Jovi tune. Blake's version was ok but I'm old school so it was a little hard to stomach. Chris just needs to go.

Too bad Jordin had a bad night, but the timberlake wannabe is the one that needs to go. I actually like all the others now. Phil has delivered some great performances recently but I don't think he'll last too long.

And it's Blake that I think will actually have a career after the show even if he doesn't come in the top 2 - he seems to be a well rounded performer.

I agree. Blake will most likely go on to do something, even though that's not my kind of music he definitely is current. I hope Phil makes it to the top two. He's got a great voice, just not as charismatic on stage as Jordin or Dolittle.

I still think you all should bash yourselves in the head for actually giving american idol ratings :emperor :emperor

I'm afraid to post in this thread for fear of being ridiculed by my fellow forumites.

Wrong, so sorry. The greatest show ever goes to Macgyver and/or Walker Texas Ranger (serving up justice, TEXAS style).

I think Chris and LaKisha will be next to go, then Phil, then Blake, and Jordin and Melinda will be the top two.

What he said!!! I completely agree.

... and the best TV show ever, has to be, hands down, The Simpsons! :D

My personal fave:

Well, the Wonder Years was a very good show, but it just doesn't stand up to repeated viewings well... at least for me. Maybe because I grew up in the same time period or something...
