The armor stays on all the time.

This challenge is nothing for us Kurgans.

...well, ...maybe, I dunno.

It's not a bad idea.... But don't worry Bidge... "The Kurgan works in mysterious ways" afterall.... :lol

This was a figure I had planned to make a long time ago, but was a logistical nightmare for me to make work. I will always keep it on the backburner in hopes that one day I might be able to do it.... but for now... no dice.

Follow the yellow brick wall---- :)monkey3 )

If someone could develop a homeebrewed Aliens Colonial Marine set, then surely Medievel Kurgan could also be done. Just takes the right tapestry of talent. (Not me, of course. My only talents are tying knots in cherry stems with my tongue and pleasing the wimmins....)

I love it whenever people come on the board after a challenge has been thrown down and just offer bloated opinions about 'ignorant newbs'
You Tinkerbell, are a Kurgan Wannabe!!!! I may be fairly new to the boards brother, but i'm not new to the game!!!!

Take up the challenge or leave your armour at the exit!

D

*glances at post count at laughs*

How about YOU make one and show us.

You have 2 months cos its obviously so easy.

I have to admit, I'm surprised the Kurgans had not already initiated this project. The Kurgan army is many. The ape army significantly smaller of late on these boards but we venture onward to our second custom sculpt.
The Fantasy Net Board has put together a "board only" exclusive elven warrior type figure. Each member that contributed to it got a finished figure and then any "extras" were sold off to other board folks.
This is possible. Just pick your Kurgan Leader to spearhead it!!
Good Luck Kurgans!!
This quest is long overdue!!

Well first of all how much is it going to cost for one Kurgan!! I dunno much about costomizing(dont even know how to wright it:lol ) but i think is going to be a pain to do as many to get one in all Kurgans Houses! Plus if we get this done what will e the purpose of our Krusade!

Either way I WANT ONE!!!!!!!:rock

We are Kurgans.

All we know what to do are:

Post in Large Fontery

Annoy people

Sleep

Chop heads off n-a-y-s-a-y-e-r-s

Stink up threads

and eat babies :monkey5

Other than that, we are pretty much lost like going grocery shopping

Now we have no secrets left:monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Way to go TOE:rolleyes:

Make a custom figure? Man what a novel idea... now we can finally sleep at night... thanks Bidge1000!

I am glad someone had the insight to let us know. Whew!

oh well, it seems the Kurgan whiners prefer to whine about not having a figure than actually going for what in reality is a really good idea, and very doable.

I'm with the guy who started the thread on here, if you want something done quit whining and try to organise it, you know there are people here who could do it.

(and no... I'm not, way too busy, lol)

:rotfl

Darren, don't get mad at us. We are merely Kurgans without a homeland. We must first find a place to clean our swords and bed our women before we can think of such lofty goals... worthy tho' they seem.

If SS can't do a Medieval Kurgan, how in the hell kan we make one in 3 months ??

I've got something to say and it's....Enough kurgan threads!

(coming from someone who loves Highlander and all it's aspects)

Looks to me all the guys with talent are too busy. Too busy to be making a Kurgan, but with enough time to say it can be done. I like positive people. They say positive things. They stink up the air more than I do, with their la dee dar sayings and positive re-affirmations. There can be only one.

Who says we haven't? :idea

Like Josh said, it's a logistical nightmare. The biggest problem is the armor. Even Sideshow admitted that so that only compounds the problem for us since we don't have a production assembly line and resources required to mass produce even a well-made custom. The accuracy and detail of the armor is extrememly difficult to reproduce, not a simple sculpt and cast job as others may think. The boots and leggings have a unique design that a kit-bash won't satisfy. It's going to take not only a craftsman to painstakingly duplicate but it would require considerable cost to make a single figure and we are talking hundreds. A company like Sideshow has the infrastructure already in place to keep such overhead costs down. We don't. There has been considerable research into this already.

So uh, Ironman, where's those Astronaut Apes? :monkey1
