Wow, he does look terrible. I'm glad I have no interest in this line, otherwise I'd have to get it repainted.

Ugh, a bad paintjob really hurts the quality of the sculpt. Hopefully Sith Ani won't be wearing the lipstick.

Let's not vote to convict just yet, let's give the defense time to present its evidence. We've all seen plenty of figures that looked bad in pictures and good in person.

I still think this was the start of the customization of Anakin. The skin tone looks ok to me but his lips look funky if this hasn't been changed at all. I'll wait to give my final thoughts until mine gets here.

I'm tired of this crap of the production figure looking no where near as good as the prototype. And it appears to be more of a design decisioin, rather than painting skill. What is up with this Sideshow??

Production pics rocked as did the amazing final approved sculpt by Andy B as we saw in the production blog

This Asian market sculpt is missing the chin cleft, the lips are markedly smaller and missing detail above the lips, eyes changed under and between the eyes (missing detail) and the paint apps are not correct; skin tone, lip color and eyeliner (maybelline version?)

However, I am reserving ANY judgment until I have him in hand.

It may also be time to begin an Ani Image thread now that pics are showing up...

So I'm gonna start one and hope some of you guys post these pics on it

I can understand the disappointment. But look at it this way: Anakin comes with a 30 days return guarantee, right? If you don't like him after you've seen him in person, you can send him back.
I'm looking forward to receiving him. He'll look better in person, I'm sure about that.
