Anakin Skywalker PF Coming

That's about the way I feel every Toyfair and SDCC, I can't wait to see what they unveil and I hope there's stuff I'm interested in (or it can be a little dull) but I always worry about having too much stuff that I want. Or something really awesome and really expensive.

Maybe they were both in the production pipeline and the ROTS Kenobi PF will be revealed at Toy Fair.

(Unlikely, but I can always dream.)

As I wrote in the comments section of the toyfare poll ROTS Obi Wan is who I'm hoping they'll reveal as a new PF, If not him than Stormtrooper, Chewie or Emperor Palpatine... and I would go with this pose...

That Obi-Wan pose is pretty similar to Anakin's which makes me think it is less likely they will do it. However, if they switched his lightsaber to the other hand I think having him and Anakin standing next to each other would be a very awesome "when they were brothers" display.

I like that Obiwan pose. At least he will look more calm over Anakin who seems like he needs to hit the john bad. I am going to get the Anakin just to prepare for Obiwan so, SS, if you are reading these. There are a lot of us here who wants Obiwan PF. Thanks!

The pose and facial expression really captures ROTS Obi-Wan. Maybe Sideshow will announce ROTS Obi PF during Toyfare... fingers crossed...

me too.... i ordered the PF anakin in high hopes that there will be an obi wan down the road. i still need to pick up a darth maul PF as well.

To be honest I really don't like that pose-- it looks a little bit unnatural.

That's why I say similar, not exact, because I agree there's something off, but there's a bit more life to it and dynamic than the other suggested pose, which I think are qualities to take advantage of in PF. Anakin is a fairly static pose, but with his force hand up and the saber held as it is, you feel like he's moving. The other Obi-Wan pose is just a bit too statuesque to me.

Agreed.

And as the lightsaber should be ignited (with any Sith or Jedi PF) you'd want it to be in some way possible to pose the Obi with the Anakin.

But maybe we're trying to lock him up with the wrong PF. An Obi PF from ROTS would look really good with the Grievous PF.

I wouldn't want something built to counter Grievous, since I don't have Grievous and many others don't, it'd be a little awkward to gear him towards that. Since Anakin's pose doesn't suit a duel with Obi-Wan, I think the best choice is a neutral Obi-Wan pose that can stand buy itself or look good side by side with Anakin. I just don't think it would be wise to make Obi-Wan specifically to go with Anakin because Anakin's posed mainly for a solo display, but could look ok with an Obi-Wan, just not like they were made to be together. I could see having Anakin and Obi-Wan as end caps to a shelf or something, with some other display, maybe the Ani-Obi dio, in between them.

The pose where Obi is about to fight Grievous would look weird by itself I think. But if they did make that one I think I would finally sell my Grievous.

I think a promotional shot of Kenobi would look good in a PF. For the Greivous pose it would look cool I think but just a bit odd.

Obi-Wan is a key character in ROTS and must be captured in a statuesque way, like Ani has been made. As I said the best way to make a ROTS Obi-Wan PF is the image I posted before IMO as he looks concerned, calm and ready to fight at the same time. I personally don't like the pose where he fights Grievous at all for a PF.

I agree Anakin. I think ROTS Obi-Wan should be in a pose that would look really good with Anakin. It would make a neat display to have ROTS Anakin and Obi-Wan as allies next to ANH Obi and Vader dueling.
