I can't wait for this piece. I could care less whats at the con, I'm not canceling. Most people just order to see if the secondary value goes up, then if not they cancel. I think 90% of collectors today have no real interest in what they buy, only what its worth. Now if Anakin was going for alot on ebay he would be a keeper. But we all know the PF SW line is not a flipping line.

If you get on the wait-list it will convert. I got on it back in April (almost 5 months after the pre-order) and 2 weeks later the wait-list came thru.

Also, as far as people buying just to flip. Yeah, I agree. But, I order something then I cancel later on if something I want more is announced, or I just lose interest.

I could of "flipped" the Yoda VS Dooku bronze. But, I just canceled it. I didn't want it, simple as that. Not trying to brag. But, I have a good job, and the hassle to make $100 or so "flipping" just ain't worth the hassle or my time...(anymore)...

No way am I cancelling. Hopefully everything debuting at SDCC will come far enough in the future for them to not impact this.

I agree.. it's not really worth my the time flipping things... now If something I collected shoots up in value like some of the Marvel peices, I'd sell just to buy more collectable (unless it was a item I couldn't live without)



I'm keeping Anakin (cancelled Aragon) and next to Jaba he'll be my center of my SW collection.:chew:emperor

Ship date for Anakin has been pushed back to August according to SS's website. Sucks that it's pushed back, but then again it gives my waitlist reservation more time to convert before it ships.

I can't remember the last SW PF that didn't have a second chance (even exclusives). Get on the wait list and you'll be fine.

Yes and know. I got my check for replacing it, just haven't done it yet. I saw a regular go for just over $100 on the bay this week and am trying to decide just how much I want the exclusive.

Wow that's a pretty good price. IMO the EX is one of those essential ones, but if you can get a regular for that price it would be hard to turn down. Did you ever get an answer about the hands being detachable by a magnet on the regular though?

what he said!!! i freaked out about the Luke/Yoda PF for the longest time. and now you can still get the exclusive on the SS website. however, Anakin is a main character and the Exclusive seems like its gonna be a must have for the completists (is that a word??)

This is what I don't get. Worried about the entire cost when the time comes around when Sideshow has already made it easier to make sure you can afford the pieces by means of the flexpay option. I have ALWAYS chosen this for that very reason. I guess unless you are uncertain you want it by the time the big 1-shot payment goes through then you shouldn't order it to begin with. If I second guess myself wanting something I just don't order it.

You never know what's coming next so people take advantage of the cancellation policy if something cooler is announced. We all are guilty of cancelling when something better comes along.

Being 100% sure you want something and being able to afford it when it ships are 2 different things. With new information comes tough choices.

Well to me if I know I really want it I sign up for it and get it. If I have to second guess the purchase I don't order it. But yes I can understand if you have to budget and there's a short window between releases and need to narrow it down then I guess you can't be faulted there.
