ANH Han Solo - Official picture thread

Just got mine in. Glad it wasnt part of the chicken little group, I think this figure turned out great! My only real prob is the hair. I think its too dark. Costume fits about 10x better than on the previous Han. Overalll I am very happy with him.

On the lazy eye, I think he may have one. Its hard to tell. From one angle I think it might then from another is it gone completely.

Either way it is not an issue. Satisfied with Han for sure!

Got mine as well... overall really happy with him. The paint is a little heavy handed, but for production its still quite good. Like King, some angles looks a little lazy or fish-eyed, but overall not an issue.

The white shirt fits a lot better than I expected it to, and its long enough you can cover up the wrists joints pretty easily. My only real issue was the magnet on my holster came unglued, so I had to reglue the leather patch that holds it together... no biggie, but kinda annoying.

I can't decide if it's in Sideshow's best interests to show us unpainted sculpts or not. Nothing I've seen in this thread comes close to what I had hoped to get, after seeing the base sculpt. But if I had only seen painted versions of this figure, I would probably be relatively happy. I'm also afraid that's what's going to happen with Indiana Jones.

I think Sideshow will somehow pull through.

Han really does grow on you quickly... and I feel bad saying it but this new one really does blow the ESB out of the water. I've always like how the ESB looked, but there really is a large leap in quality when it comes to this latest figure.

Makes me even more excited to see the next Luke figure

I really don't think he's lazy-eyed... but when you look at him really close it looks a little off and of course giant pictures of his head look funky.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the other blaster much. I dont think its that big of a deal.

i think this figure looks real good. ford is such a hard character to nail, but theres still room for improvement

Here are a couple quick shots of mine.

Overall the figure is great. The only issues I have are the body (really at this point who still likes the buck?) and the heavy eyebrow paint; both easy enough fixes. Because Han's clothes are so fitted he would really benefit, more than most, from a different body. It really is too bad he's not on the prometheus, but a Hot Toys should work just as well. Regardless of those two minor issues the figure is a very worthy addition to the ANH line up.

Great pictures everyone - Carrot always seems to take some pretty good photos - always enjoy seeing his work. That photoshop image showing ANH Han on the ESB body works pretty well - might have to consider that.

Awesome, I'd say its not completely necessary (since the clothes fit well on this one) but I'm sure it will still look a lot better on a TrueType.
