I'd say that overall he turned out really nice. If SS starts making cantina aliens I may go ahead and pick Han up. I can't wait to see him after a hair and face repaint.

I think ANH and ESB are about the same in terms of how close their likeness is to Ford. They both have their pluses and minuses.

I think this Han looks quite a bit better than Bespin. His head just looks more proportionate this time. Should be here tomorrow.

Anyhoo, took some more pics tonight to see if I could get a pose I liked, and this is my favorite of the ones I've come up with.

And here's a pic of the vest and jacket swapped between the two Hans. ROTJ Han anyone? Boy, that Bespin jacket looks better when THE HEAD IS IN SCALE.

That's a great comparison shot. All you have to do is add the Endor overcoat an you have a complete ROTJ Han.

Everyone's got their own tastes, but to me, the ANH head is too out of place to swap the ESB clothes onto, but I'm sure osme folks still will. However, I do love the ROTJ possiblities. I'd like a Jedi Han, the hair would need to be a bit different from ESB, but the costume would be nice, especially if it had his Endor trenchcoat.

I think that's the biggest difference, I still think the Bespin is a great figure, but side by side, its more apparent that the Bespin head is too big.

I gotta disagree MF, I don't think the ANH Han looks at all strange with the ESB gear on. I think it looks better although the hair needs to be done more brown than black but I think it matches.

Well that's the beauty, options for everyone. I just can't break the association of the hair and all from ANH, ESB and ROTJ are fairly close to one another but ANH really stands out by itself and it just doesn't sit outside of the ANH costume context for me.

I'm with Sean on this one....the hairstyles are too different to make that switch work well.

I think they're both good versions. My standing complaint with ESB Solo is that doggone bolero jacket...if it was just cut a bit bigger....

This latest rounds of pics in here is really making this figure look good.

Looking forward to next week's round of additions to look at (especially you, Sean)....and Josh? Where's that Doily Shot™ ? A figure doesn't feel like it's arrived around here without it!

Ya, that's true, outdoor shots aren't easy lately. I don't so much mind the rain, it's that it's splattered amidst sunny days, give me a rainy day or a sunny day, not days that start nice and get ruined. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
