As long as my Han has two good, forward looking eyes he will look fine in my set up with Ben, Leia and (soon) Luke.

Looks much better here, but I'm still not sold. It's weird b/c I'm ok with other 1:6 figures not having a dead on likeness, but when it comes to Star Wars I expect dead on. I don't know if that's b/c I've loved SW since I was a kid and I've seen these characters so many times that if it doesn't look like them to a tee I'm not satisfied or if it's b/c we've had so much SW crap merchandise shoved down our throats that I only want to collect quality stuff.

Seeing the initial photos of Bespin Luke concerned me, but I was pretty happy with the figure in hand so I'm interested in what my reaction will be to the Han when it comes in on Monday.

No more than all the other SS figures really...

He looks a bit determined here.

This shot is fantastic. Looks great Wor-Gar. Between yours and what MF will put up, makes the figure look superb and is why I don't even waste the forum space around here with my shots anymore....you guys do a great job.

Good luck with the move...

He looks MUCH closer to acceptable in these latest pictures (as expected), but I still think that they let really let Trevor's sculpt down with the paint. Anyway, keep 'em coming folks.

Good news is that the paint doesn't look too bad in natural lighting. Bad news, the eyebrow coloring is still off and the lazy eyes. Goddamn it. I'm pray for a normal eyed Han.

Like a rubber outter layer to go over the base plastic adapter?

Not exactly.

I have always preferred the sculpted neck. If Sideshow had found a way to keep the sculpted neck while making the head easier to swap, I would have been all for it. Also, the limited articulation in the neck isn't the sculpted neck's fault. It is the spring contraption used in the buck body.

With the neck adapter the way it is now, all we see is a generic neck post. Instead of the generic outer neck sleeve, I would like to see them sculpt the neck for each portrait and slip that on the inner adapter piece. Nothing would go over the base plastic. Instead the outer shell of the neck would be the sculpted neck. Does that make sense?

Thanks!

But I do like your "in nature" shots. Not a waste of space by any stretch. Don't quit on us. :)

Okay, kids, you know the drill. I'm not a photographer, I have a cheap camera, blah, blah, blah... but I do my best to take pics in sunny California just for you. Hope you enjoy them but if not, I hope you don't "Rancor[me] to the point of death" as Darklord Dave so eloquently stated. Remember, I'm trying to do you guys a favor here so enjoy them, damn it!:lol

Han looks like a ape in the first pic. However he does look ok in the pictures that were TOOK IN THE DARK!! LOL!!

It's all relative. Look how life-like Han looks standing next to...something that is supposed to represent Leia.

Here's some shots of mine. The paint job is not SS best work be far but like always it's much better in person.
