I don't display it with the poncho or hat, but I do like having the binoculars in his hand. The way the hand is posed seems strange if it's not holding something.

I agree and that's why I primarily bought the Exclusive... I only recently posed him in his full "exclusive" gear and I'm only doing that for the arrival of the 1/6-- which I know confidently that I will NOT be posing him with his poncho.

I never noticed the binoculars in hand. Still not what I think of when I think of that scene.

I agree. If I ever buy one I will get the regular. The exclusive is dumb IMO.

Nonsense...

The exclusive might seem like a dumb idea, but for years I've lamented the deletion of this scene from the movie (having read it in the novelization way back when it was released). I can understand why the average Star Wars fan might see it as extraneous, but it really does mean something to me.

I don't know how you define an average fan. However, for me it wasn't in the movie so it isn't necessary. That's all. I don't remember him wearing that goofy outfit as a kid so for me as stated IMO of course it is lame. I appreciate the fact though that other's may like it and find it rewarding to own. Not my cup of tea though.

Yeesh, man. :lol Didn't know that would strike such a dissonant chord with you. Do you seriously think that I was implying something? Like, I dunno, "I like the PF Luke Exclusive and you don't, so my fan is greater than your fan?"

The "average fan" remark had nothing to do with you, especially not in a derogatory sense, and it certainly wasn't meant to elevate me just because I dig the hat and poncho look.

If I did ruffle your feathers, I apologize. Hope I made myself more clear in this post.

It was a retoricle. I meant nothing by that. No chord was struck. :duff

That being said, my schwartz is not looking so good. :lol

At the risk of sounding like I'm bragging, I have four schwartzes -- and no, I am not going to post a pic. I keep my schwartzes private, thankyouverymuch.

:monkey3

Oh, and back on topic, as I mentioned before, I like the exclusive for the binocs, not so much for the pncho, and I like it for the reason Monk mention. Without them in his hand, the pose looks wrong, even "lame", to me.
