D&W Blade is probably the worst looking design to me. He needs his trench coat. Wish they were making Blade 1 version.

Do you have the concept art book, or are these just standalone images you found?

I'm not usually interested in those "Art of ..." books but there was enough easter eggs and the like in this movie, that I'm intrigued by the contents of this one.

Funny just yesterday I was going through all the upcoming figures that I plan to get. I was thinking about the Deadpool and Wolverine movie and thinking,"I guess all Hot Toys will be making are the 2 main characters, I'm surprised since this was a big movie, I'd think more would be made." Now to my surprise I see this teaser. It sure took them long to reveal this.

It will depend mostly on how these come out whether I get some or all of these, or none at all. The likenesses have to be pretty much spot on, like the Hugh Jackman sculpt. They should make old and new versions of Blade and Elektra, maybe Laura also. I assume we're at a point where silicone is standard and will be used for, say, Elektra's arms. Also some of you might not agree, but rooted hair should be used for Elektra and Laura. If any of you have Jane Foster Thor or She-Hulk would agree. You can't move their heads at all due to the long sculpted hair, which limits posing. They should have had rooted hair.

I don’t imagine these are very far into the process yet. I saw this more was a shot fired to third party companies that were planning on making these. HT did that with Vulture and we still don’t have a Vulture preorder from them but all those third party figures came and went already.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop these all in one day like the Summer event.

But I have strong suspicions that only half of these will get made. The toss up will be Blade vs X23 in my mind. Gambit is the only guarantee.

All four of these will be great to pair with the others but I hope we also see the Variants of Wolverine. AOA Weapon Omega and Brown suit, and Patch are my most wanted.

I hope they have been working on these for some time - given the funko pops are leaked and being officially revealed this week or next week, maybe we will see the first resistance member shortly? The teasers do say ‘we know how long you’ve been waiting for this’ suggesting HT knows they are overdue a reveal!

Personally I think in order of likeliness to be released it’s Gambit, Blade, X-23 then Elektra.

For me though in order of importance, it’s Elektra firstly (given I don’t think an Elodie Yung MCU version is on the near horizon and she will go nicely alongside Daredevil BA), Gambit (the costume is kind of perfect), Blade (costume is just average but feel like the MCU version will be a long time away, and Wesley is iconic) and finally X-23 (not a fan of street clothes)
