I guess you can add me to the gang-bang of people personally keeping you from getting your Sideshow Vader. Matter of fact I just faxed a memo to Greg Anzalone stating that "under no circumstances" are the production team allowed to complete Vader under the risk of allowing one collector to fullfill his one and only wish.

Just a friendly chide, but you don't seem in it for the long haul. If Sideshow pulls a MR, then I'll eat my humble pie. Until then, why don't you tide yourself over with a Medi Vader. Seriously, if that is the only figure your interested in, you won't be dissappointed. Then again, after all this time, I can't be the only one to suggest this to you.

Is anyone else considering buying a parted out ANH Luke body to take the place of the Yavin Luke sculpt?

For all the complaints I still like the figure, looks fine in a display IMO. I actually put him away yesterday and replaced him with Bespin. But he'll be out again when I find the right spot for him.

Well I dunno, what did you want to see next Vader? It seems you guys that are into the Medi figures are all about the armor but I bet when it gets released you won't be happy with SS's work. Only figure I've seen you ever praise was Old Ben. If you have any interest in SS stuff I would say really look at the price they are charging and then adjust expectations accordingly. Like I said I am all for as many figures as they can get to me before they PPO Vader because I plan to get him for free. I have every belief Vader will be there at SDCC and if it's not you can bookmark this post and call me a liar.

I believe he's already got a Medicom vader, and I doubt he would think a hypothetical SS Vader would be superior to it, so I'm not sure what he's complaining about, frankly.

Wow, I like Luke. Glad to see the big 3 for Luke have been made (Yavin is not included), now it's easy street from here on out for ol' Wormie. Seriously, the only other Luke I'd want would be Hoth but I guess Stormtrooper would be cool too? If you are a true fan of this line you will be down for this figure, at least it's not another Jedi, right guys?

Sure glad you did the sculpt Trev cause the paint app in the preview really doesn't look all that great. Good? yes. Great? No.
