That muscley-chest of the Buck reminds me of the POTF2 He-Man Luke.

:lol, oh that figure, wow, in so many ways it was great getting that at first, much more quality than the old figures, but after awhile, Hercules was too much, it was a nice relief when the released the Luke with the blast shield helmet figure and the Purchase of the Droids 3 pack.

Mine just came. I'll try for some shots at golden hour tonight. I'd forgotten I used points; nice to pay a 2002 price. When I opened the box I said, "Wow" aloud to myself. Pictures don't do the likeness justice. Between this and Mat Falls' Jedi, we have perfect before-and-after-the-accident renditions of Mark Hamill as Luke.

The tunic and the poncho still look pretty darn bad for a $70 figure, and that hair color is head-scratching. But with some work this will be a nice addition to the collection. The rest of the outfit and the accessories turned out fine... and that sculpt! :rock

Sideshow fell well short of a home run on this, but it was a decent hard liner to center. Still, I'll still expect better for my money. And I KNOW they can do better. That's why these things are disappointing.

They sure as hell can.

This is one of the many 12" misses that SS has given us.They can make and have made great quality statues, but they just can't get it together when it comes to 12" figures.WTH

That said, this would be an ok figure if the price was $50.

Wow.. I'd hate to sit next to you at a baseball game when your team (the Braves?) hits a decent hard liner to centre.:horror

:rotfl:lol

Let's go LES EXPOS!!! (What do you mean they don't exist anymore?:monkey2)

Here's some outdoor shots of mine. He looks pretty good, but something is a little off to me. He does have some great accessories and ankle articulation because he is wearing shoes instead of boots. I'm sure with some futzing he will be really good. I do like the Han figure better, but that's just me.

If they would let go of their infuriating reliance on the Buck and put as much time and effort into costuming and head paint apps as they do weapons and accessories I don't think some of us would be as weary as we're getting.

With Han, Luke, Aayla and the Ki Adi Mundi announcement it appears that the wave of momentum spawned by Old Ben and Palpatine has been summarily washed away. :sick

Han was pretty well liked, Luke is getting nice in hand reviews, Aayal isn't bad (light on the extras), and the same can be said for Ki. It may be washed away for some but as a whole I don't think this is the case with most.

My team is the Red Sox. So, of course, I expect home runs there as well. :lecture

:lol

That explains much. Thank goodness they finally won-- all those years of futility could drive a man bonkers---:naughty

I live as close to Red Sox central as you can get in Canada (right on the border with Maine) so I've got tons of friends who are Red Sox faithful-- in fact the only games I've been to, besides games at the "O" for that team that no longer exists, were Red Sox games..back when Reggie was doing his farewell tour with the A's... We sat out with the bleecher creatures and he tipped his hat to us everytime he came out.

Classy.

But back to this fig-- I'm really sad that I cancelled the Exc. Han and Luke for financial reasons--- I'll probably have to wait another month for my order to go through from my Canadian supplier... Oh well... Living vicariously through you guys...and the pics...kepp 'em coming.
