my big thing is .i have nothing wrong with any of the 12 inch pieces. even though i assumed luke was going to be on the new body.that's all..i also see a collaboration between ss and ht because look at the lotr frodo and samwise. it was a new body and a new style design head.
i would love to see these to continue there unique bond together in the 12 inch field.

I think the figure will look fantastic in hand and I'm looking forward to it!
However, I do find it a bit strange that out of the three SST Luke's I have, this one is the one with the most serious expression.

I think he looks fantastic!!! I regret canceling my exclusive now...The tunic isn't as yellow as I thought! It looks pretty good....I just hope that my local retailer (Perfect Frames Gallery, Fayetteville, N.C.) gets him in. I just got my ANH Han there this past Saturday.

Not fun sifting through pages and back-n-forth just to see some images of this guy....especially considering that he should be hitting the east coast and our northern friends this week along with across the pond soon too when more great pics should be appearing in here...

I'm still on the fence a little with Luke. I'm not seeing much Mark Hamill in it, but I'm liking the oufit and accessories more and more.

It does seem as I see more and more pics that this Luke is seriously stern. I always think of Luke as a wide eyed farmboy...but he looks pretty darn mean here. Maybe it's just the pic above that has me thinking this.

To all the people that don't see Hamill in this sculpt: wait till you have the figure.

Like you, I didn't see Hamill in it all at first, but as I photographed him and saw him at different angles, I started to recognize him.
Of course, it's not a perfect likeness; he looks a little older, maybe a little too chiseled. And at some angles, he looks like another person.

Check out the profile view; I think it looks pretty close.

This is why I'm on the fence with the likeness. I'm not finding too many angles where it really looks like Luke. There are a couple, but most of my SS figures have multiple angles where I see the likeness. This one has fewer IMO. I still think it's a nice figure but both Jedi and Bespin capture the likeness better.

It is a Han or a Luke sculpt, not just Harrison or Mark Hammil so capturing what defines Han or Luke is just as important as the anatomy of the actor.

Sorry MF, I don't buy it. As was said once in another thread, the character is the actor and vice-versa. That's why the first feature they advertise is "authentic likeness of ..."

That said, I'm reasonably satisfied with Luke, just not blown away.

Still waiting for Luke to arrive in the UK but after seeing many in hand pics, I have to say the eyes aren't the best imo. I'd prefer a more wide eyed look... I know it may be considered a crime but... swap heads with Yavin Luke? *ducks for cover*
