Great repaint lawtonn22!

I just got my Luke from OK SITHLORD yesterday and the fun has begun...

Here's my effort - he arrived yesterday... i put the poncho on because i couldn't stand the white/yellow top, no amount of futzing will fix that mother !.

I love the third pic you posted. That's exactly how I'll be posing my Luke. And I agree regarding the poncho. It will be on the figure to cover up the crappy top.

I was looking at my Luke closely the other day and I found that what's squinting the eyes is the eye lash painting, it's not too dark, but it creeps a bit onto the eyes themselves reducing the white space and changing the overall look.

Here's my effort - he arrived yesterday, i got round to re-painting him at 8pm & finished at midnight (that's why pic's are a little shakey as i took them at the same time).
I only worked on Hair/Eye's & have to say i'm happy so far, i put the poncho on because i couldn't stand the white/yellow top, no amount of futzing will fix that mother !.

Pretty slick there on Photo #2 man, great job. So now I guess I have to factor in a repaint budget for every release?

Excellent repaint lawtonn22 - very subtle but it really brings out the likeness much better than the factory paint could. I think I'm going to have to lighten Luke's hair up a bit as well once I have some time. It's a pretty quick fix since it doesn't seem the entire head needs repainting.

Nice repaints....its amazing how the likeness on this and Han were thrown off by the painted eyes - especially Luke - you make the eyes bigger and suddenly the Hamill likness just jumps out!

I had contemplated cancelling ANH Leia, thankfully I knew Luke and Han were on the horizon and decided having her with the 3 amigos would look nice, as it does, and add to that Vader and Stormtroopers and that'll be an impressive ANH showing, lacking significantly if she weren't there.

I just took a closer look at this... I don't think your R2-D2 is to scale-- come to think of it, I don't think that Death Star is 1/6 scale either!!!!

Got around to doing a repaint last night--pretty much the same things I did to Han, lightened his hair, made his pupils a little bigger, and redid his eyebrows, tho for Luke it was to soften the stern expression. Still a little green in his hair, but it's hard to find the right dirty blond shade.

If you want a really stellar figure repaint, you almost always have to mix your own paint. I must say though, that is an awesome repaint of the eyes!
