S? Since when did she have anything to do with SSC products?

Yeah I watch Gossip Girl but if you got the reference immediately you do too....

Blake Lively is a beauty. Had an instant crush when I saw Accepted.

Oh, definitely! I think one of the reasons ANH is so special is its simplicity; no fancy politics, no host of characters, nothing but the simple story of a princess saving her people and a dreamer pursuing his destiny. The balance between the twins is so pure, it creates a perfect, wonderful story. These scenes just add to its heart. The people want their freedom, and Luke and Leia fight for it. What could be a better story? No wonder it's so beloved by fans of all ages.

Even better than LOTR i agree!!!!

:wacky

I saw this movie 70 times by the time I turned 6. My parents had an RCA Selectivision movie disc player. It wasn't laser because the discs were vinyl. You had to flip it halfway through the movie. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie ever, but there's no way I could like Star Wars any less than second best. On top of that, it was my first movie in a cinema. I was 4.

(We had the Ralph Bakshi Lord of the Rings too. It was on two discs. You know how many times a 7 year old will watch that?)

That is so cool! I've never heard about this system before. So I had to look it up: https://www.cedmagic.com/museum/ced-player-guide/sft100.html
Kids of today will never get how amazing it was to experience things like this or your first VCR (and I mean actual VCR, not VHS) big clunky machines, now they take all for granted. God I feel old and I'm not even 40! :lol

It was cool. I still have it and it still works. It was my only recourse for watching unaltered Star Wars movies until the WalMart exclusives came out.

Actually, it's still the only option because I think those exclusive dvd's were re-issues of the 1993 laserdiscs. These RCA discs were 1980-something. The only alteration is 'Episode IV: A New Hope' at the beginning of the scroll.

Where's my Luke!!:D
I know this is a LONG shot but, anybody buying an extra Luke with the intention of parting it out? If so PM me I might be interested in the Luke Head and body and a few other items as well. I'd be willing to buy or trade, I have a few Star Wars loose items like the Anakin Lava base or some Anakin items , like clothing etc.

I suggest buying a regular and then parting the rest on ebay.
