I was thinking the same thing. Seems like a waste of money to pay full price for things that are relatively easy to come by these days and if you are patient and wait can get them for a nice discount. It's one of the reasons why I hardly preorder anything anymore.

I don't know, it seems to me like deals this good are rare, I mean there are people that still missed out on figures they're looking for and will likely still end up having to pay full price and would have been better off if they could have ordered it in the first place.

I still feel anything you truly care about in this hobby is worth paying full up front rather than risk missing out on it to try and save some cash which you may not be able to in the end.

In a show of will power I said that if things I wanted were still available today I would purchase them. That would be a sign from the Toy Gods that they were destined to be mine. Well thanks to many of you many of the things I was going to get are gone; that's good. I only bought a Stormtrooper and Tatoonie Solo. Both are for customs.

Seriously. With a few exceptions the secondary values have stalled and head downwards pretty quickly. Even the ones that spike, its temporary.

I agree with this in theory but in this economy deals are plentiful. At one time this was the way of operations but now the deals are out there for those who go elsewhere. The deals for some aren't that great while for others its downright shocking. I still say until the economy takes an upswing that sitting on the sidelines is probably a good tactic even if you care for it. Not that I regret what I've purchased but it does sting a bit when I grab a figure because I think it looks good maybe not something I like passionately and a few months later its on super sale at this site or that one. It seems the "Hey this figure is on sale here" threads are coming more rapidly than before...

He is the best. The one that started it all. The one that is for the purists. He also is one of the better deals that was here.

Compared to the other Predator figures, the body is really assembled well, the proportions are great on him, small details like the wraps on his arms being little leather bits and not plastic, he's just the best from Hot Toys, they made an effort to have the Predator most fans enjoy most come out as their best figure and it worked out. It's not flawless, but like I said, it's still the best one they've done to date.

So these are shipped from stores closest to your location that have the item in stock? I was thinking they were shipped from a central warehouse that carried all of the stock in one place.
