I can't believe it would make sense to ship from stores, since that would result in having to send lots of separate packages in most cases. But it's possible that the stuff we get may have been in a store at one point.

So these are shipped from stores closest to your location that have the item in stock? I was thinking they were shipped from a central warehouse that carried all of the stock in one place.

I need to see if there are any near me.

I imagine these came from some warehouse, not from the individual stores. Because there is still a P1 in stock in Sierra Vista store, but I don't think it would be at the 30% off rate.

The site sucks for trying to find locations near you. the store locator feature is the worst. Instead, find some item that is in stock, go to that items page, and then click on the "Can I pick this up at my local store" option. From there, you can at least enter your zip and they will provide the stores nearest you. Click the field of the address that does show up and there may be more listed within that field. I don't know what happens if there are none in your state though.

Some of these stores that sell small ammounts of pop culture stuff like this do more online than they do in store. They still deal in smaller quantities than a typical comic or collectibles shop, but they recognize there's a community out there they could sell to, but the average person walking into a store isn't going to spend this kind of money so they tend not to stock too much of it. A local shop of mine that's more about comics and music sells Sideshow figures, mainly Star Wars and Buffy, and they just sit on the shelf collecting dust until they're super clearanced.

I called the 4 that are in my state. Hoping to here the person say they had an Elder in stock, but no luck. Just the Wolf, Lost, and Pred 1. Still curious to check out this store in person, but the nearest one is actually 2 hours away (1-way), and I'm not driving for nothing. I imagine it would be like a Virgin Music or an FYE/Suncoast.

At least you have one somewhat near you ;P

Vegas sucks.

I guess I don't have any near me. I did what you said, but when I type in the zip and click "Go," nothing happens. I also did the store locator, and came up short.

I'm hoping to get a shipping notice soon, just to verify that the order was indeed filled.

Nice, scored two more Sideshow stormies, ANH Han (I know, I know, took me long enough) and a Rebel Fleet Trooper. Might have to go for some Fleet Troopers before the weekend is over.

This store reminds of Tower Records. Depending on the location some had plenty of stuff while others hand little to nothing. I remember ordering online for Tower and many times they did ship it from the nearest store to me that had the item in stock.

Really wanted an Iron Man Mark III, but I missed the boat so I decided to pick up a Bank Robber Joker simply because I really liked the movie and I have heard so much about how awesome this figure is. Also, these are such great prices I felt obligated to buy something and there aren't any SW figures that I need. I'm afraid this sale has created a monster though because now I have pre-ordered the MMS DX Joker & MMS DX Batman from BBTS. I'm really anxious to see how their parallel eyball rolling system turns out on these two. The DX Joker looks amazing. Think I just got bit by the Hot Toys Dark Knight bug. :banghead

You are supposed to make a net profit of at least $300,000 a year to be allowed access to this site. Who are you and how did you get here??

hmmm... that's weird. Original wolf sold out a day or two ago when it was listed at ~$109. Still sold out, but now listed for something like $145.

wonder if others will change in price and hopefully come down.

The original Wolf was on clearance, which was why its price was lower. It looks like they just reverted to the original price now for some reason, instead of the clearance price.

I own my own company. We used to deal with prototype explosive projectiles and heavy ammunition weaponry with huge military contracts but now we are focused on alternative energy sources and counterterrorist actions. The company really runs itself, I have trusted friend running the day to days (used to have a real ^^^^ who was a friend of my dad's in there until recently) so I can just sit back and waste time on the boards and the net. When I'm not nabbing figures and statues, I dabble a bit in cars and fine suits.
