ijust bought a few books and the nirvana anthology..25 $ shipped..this is my new favorite site for books and music.
 
Anyone who ordered a sold out item and received a phone call to process the order should be all set, I wouldn't worry about it.

I am curious why they haven't shipped yet, but it seems like mainly Sideshow stuff has shipped, not much Hot Toys stuff shipping yet to folks.
 
I ordered two Original Predator figs on Friday, got my call on Sat and got shipping notices on Sunday. For some reason, they were sent in separate shipments (from different stores?). I don't think this could be anything other than the HT P1 given the price and that this was listed under Sideshow on the website. Also i think someone in this thread mentioned calling some stores and was told that the HT P1 was in stock. I'll find out soon enough (fingers crossed).

Damn. I ordered mine on Thursday and still no shipping confirmation. What's up, Hastings?

By the way, did you order "Original" Predator? If so, was it the Hot Toys version, or something else?
 
Hey guys,

I really tried to resist another purchase. I bought one SS Stormtrooper. Hours later I couldn't get over the deal. Around the midnight hour last night I gave in. Purchased Hot Toys' (says sideshow though) Hellboy 2 figure. $117 was too good to pass up for a figure that great. Damn, wish I waited a couple days to get Vader. Thanks for the tip. My wallet needs a rest.

Maul, I have STILL yet to receive a shipping email (although, I got a phone call on Friday/Saturday.)

I'm going to call them before the day is up. I'll keep you updated!
 
Well, I have some bad news....For all of you who have the Mark III on order and HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A SHIPPING EMAIL, you may not be receiving your item. I just got off the phone with "GoHastings" and they said that they are currently having "sourcing" issues with this piece. The rep. said that they send the orders out to be filled by their local stores and apparently they are having issues fulfilling the orders. I asked if there is a chance that the order WILL NOT be filled, and the rep. said at this point for this particular item, it's definitely a possibility.
 
Well that sucks, but fortunately, the BD figure still hasn't even gone up for order so even if this doesn't pan out I can still pick that one up, but I'd prefer the original Mark 3, plus the BD won't be coming out anytime soon and I was excited to have an Iron Man soon. Glad I placed my order quickly, maybe with a little luck they'll have enough to fulfill mine.

Damn. I placed my order pretty quickly, too, but was at work when the confirmation call came in, so that might hurt my chances.

Well, I can certainly use the extra cash back in my bank account, so I guess it isn't completely bad news.

I placed my order pretty much as soon as this link went up, so I'm hopeful. Exactly why I just placed it and didn't shop around for other things, situations like this, always best to act as immediately as possible.
 
I'm still waiting for a phone call. I guess I'm screwed out of that Predator. :rolleyes:

I called CS today, but they gave no help whatsoever.

However, I called CS today in the morning and then again in the afternoon and both ladies had no idea why my order still says processing and my card HAS NOT been charged! And I ordered as soon as the link went up. The second one said she would notify the internet department (??) and that I would get a call. No one has called yet.
I would like to think that they are just disorganized and that I will get my Iron Man sooner or later. I'm hoping everything works out well.:monkey3
 
Well, my CC has a pending charge for Iron Man, I received a call to verify my order from him, so other than did I order early enough / did they have enough to cover up to my order, I am not worried. Just a matter of did they have almost none available when we placed orders, but at least the processing of my order's gone fine, now it's just wait and see if they have a figure to send me or not.

My experience with them is almost IDENTICAL! :lol It was very awkward and confusing while talking on the phone with them. (Maybe I caught them on a bad day? But awkward sums up my experience.)

I don't know if you noticed but when you call and it gives you the number options....and well, there is ONLY ONE CHOICE to choose from. :lol You can only select "1." There is no "2" or "3." Just "1." And if you don't press anything, it just repeats the same option. Then, while I was on hold. They looped the same 30 second music clip over and over....

Nothing against these people because they do seem legitimate, but it was funny when you brought up your experience because I sense you felt the same way....awkward and confused. :lol
 
FYI -

I was going to place an order with Hastings and my browser alert told me that the verisign certificate was redirecting to an unknown, untrusted and unsecured site so I didn't proceed with my purchase. Just wondering if anybody else realized this to avoid another Cornerstore Comics credit hack fiasco.

I did get that message when I tried ordering from my phone, but no alerts when I ordered from home.

Good point though because I do remember seeing that.
 
I tried placing my order from home and Firefox gave me that alert.
