It is truly great to see how much everyone loves it.

(That was a DOUBLE word score. :rock)

Just called. My P1 shipped on the 6th. My other order for stormtropper and Wold Pred is "pending" and girl on the phone couldn't answer as to why it hadn't shipped yet. I got off the phone with a less than warm and fuzzy feeling about the status of this pending order.

I'm keeping hope, I have a hunch they were bombarded with more orders than they're used to handling, mixed with apparently having an interesting and abnormal means of inventory, some stuff is probably easy to get out and some stuff takes more work for them to get their ^^^^ together. Not saying there's no chance of some orders being cancelled because of no inventory, but I'm not surprised by some of what's going on and taking it as sign of problems either.

Given the type of store, I'm sure they didn't have a ton of Iron Mans and may have overextended their online inventory, not anticipating 50 being sold in one night. Where ordinarily, as a few were sold, the system would get updated, they're having to figure out just how many they can get their hands on all at once, and not just Iron Man, a number of things I'm sure, and perhaps they're also talking with Hot Toys to see if they can source more before just saying sorry folks.

I'll give it two weeks before I throw in the towel, if they haven't done something in two weeks, I'll call and make a decision at that point.

Same here. Foolishly, I've gotten myself all hyped up about finally having an Iron Man, and even though I could always get the BD one, I wanted one I could have in my hands now.

I really like the looks of the BD version, but now, I have my "heart" set on the original release Mark III. When I talked to the customer service rep. yesterday, he said to call back on Thursday to see if any progress has been made. I'll keep you all updated.

I didn't want an Iron Man all that much until I bought one from here and then was expecting it. Now, I really want one! But I'm expecting nothing but a refund :monkey2

OK, I'm a bit out of the loop ... what does "BD" stand for ?

I really don't care too much for the BD set, but given the prices of the original Mark 3 today, I was excited about this deal because I could get the Mark 3 I really wanted and for much cheaper than normal, plus it's already out so all I'd have to really wait is shipping time, where the BD hasn't even gone up for order, then it'll be like 6-8 months after that for it to ship. I recently have been getting into Iron Man after watching it again for the first time in awhile and I was thinking of the Mark 3 figure even before this deal, this deal just pushed it, and the past few nights I worked on some graphics to use for images to make with him once I get him, hopefully this will work out and I won't have to sit on them for almost a year.
