1/6 Animated Clone Wars Anakin & Obi-Wan Sixth Scale Figures!

Well, they're fragile AF because their bodies are made of hopes and dreams. So I knew what I was getting into. Snagged'em for a cool $360 shipped. So $180 a piece.

At that price I can ignore their issues because of how good they look on the shelf. I love the animated design and these represent that really well imo. It was such a great show.

Robot arm looks sick! something you made yourself or available to the less talented among us?

I was able to snag Ani and Obi brand new sealed in box for $150 each recently so unless they arrive actually broken I'm pretty happy with the deal I got.

Ahsoka and Yoda seem to be going for above retail right now unfortunately. I would pay retail for Yoday but definitely not Ahsoka so the search continues for those 2. I already have the HT Bane so even if he does eventually get released I'm not sure I would go for him just to complete the set.

Awesome, Mr. Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. $20 above retail so inline with eBay prices at the moment but good to know.

I actually just found him regular retail at Comic Fortress. Brick & Mortar based in NJ with an online store. Never heard of them but they have good Yelp, Facebook and eBay reviews so it seems like a safe transaction? Im a little worried as I just checked their site again and he is now listed as out of stock. Either I got lucky and got the last one or my credit card got charged for nothing We'll see!

The robot arm is from Hot toys, bought off of eBay a while ago. I was going to use it for something else, and then it dawned on me that it might look good on animated Ani. I frankensteined a new body for the figure in the past and knew I would have to give him a new arm for a proper fit.

Congrats on picking the figures up for a decent price. It’s almost guaranteed that the inner waist joint’s housing is broken. The shirts for both will hold the figures together as they are glued at the crotch.

I really love this series, but I have to mod them to bring them up a notch in how they’re presented. Can’t wait for Cad Bane and have my fingers crossed that there are no QC issues. I’d be surprised if the line continues after that. I’ve got a custome line-up planned as I want more in this style. I’m working on an animated Holiday Boba Fett, Ahsoka season 7, Vader and will wait to see if Sideshow releases the teased Maul before I go ahead with him. Possibly plans for me to do Dooku and Sidious later on.

If a company decided to do 1/6 clones in this style, I’d be in trouble.

Yeah I can't imagine they'll continue this line beyond Cad Bane. Which is incredibly unfortunate for us CW fans. But it was a pipe dream anyway.

The majority of the market has shunned SS 1/6 figures and I don't even see a point in their continuing to produce them anymore at this point as practically nobody are going to invest in them.

It's almost guaranteed that their Pennywise and Beetlejuice will be trash.

They are still “functional” but not at the level they should be AND it shouldn’t be an issue AT ALL! It’s the only time I wrote Sideshow to say they needed to make that right…and the only time I didn’t hear back from them.
Between the replacement bodies I received from Sideshow and the ones I got from Toy Anxiety, they all had the same issue. Saw some video reviews mentioning the same.
It hasn’t seemed to be an issue with their product since, so hopefully it’s solved.

Yeah agreed. The sculpts aren't perfect but pretty decent, they need animated bodies though.
