I saw this before. The science part looks good but I fear they will not explain Earth 2 and the science behind it and instead concentrate on their lives and relationships etc.

This looks really good! I thought it was going to be some alien invasion, "shoot-em-up," thing at first, but I think it may actually stay a little more realistic. I might go see this.

I kind of hope they go that route. I like that idea.

Plus, it has Ethan in it...

And everyone knows YOU CAN'T TRUST ETHAN! :lol

(Lost reference.)

They're getting people ready for the revelations in 2012...

dun Dun DUN!

I think this looks great!

Nice trailer track

Edit: Track is To Build a Home - The Cinematic Orchestra & Patrick Watson

Meh.. I was midly excited when I first started watching the trailer but then it got sappy and started looking like some BS chick flick.

The possibility of another Earth? No. That you're awesome? Yes.

:exactly: :goodpost:

I was like "This is gonna be great!" And then it was all car accidents and Wii games. Lame.

Interesting concept, but it's leaning waaay too much into melodrama territory. Also reminds me a bit of the movie Bounce with Affleck and Paltrow.

I'd like to point out that they used the standard stock image of earth, which is a shot showing Africa. I know this because years ago when I was a design intern, I had to acquire the photo from NASA (I believe it was free). I was told the story about this photo--that it was the best shot their astronauts had taken that showed some land masses. All the other shots they got had too much cloud covering.

So now whenever I see a photo of earth, it's usually that same one with Africa. :)
