Prop ANOVOS goes into Star Wars Costuming

I'm taking the same stance I did for The Force Awakens, in that I'm not buying anything from it, till I see the movie. & so far, the only thing I've bought from TFA is the melted Vader helmet (soon to be the v1) from MasterEdi.

He even sculpted a piece of skull to put inside, that you can see through the eyes.


Everything is resin.

On an ANOVOS subject. I did receive my Darth Vader Mantle today from ANOVOS. I ordered during the Black Friday weekend sale with discount. I also ordered the set of inner robes & cape, & they should be here Thursday.
It's a nice fit, & light weight, which would be great for trooping. I'll take better photos later (maybe when the capes arrive). But today's been a very long day, so a crappy cell phone photo is all I'll post for now.

The melted Vader replica helmet does look good! It's very close to the film used prop.

Careful not to burn yourself on the stove when you're trooping. I mean, you don't have to duplicate EVERY single thing that happened to Anakin.

Yep. Both pieces are ANOVOS. & I felt the same about my Droid Caller. It's nice..... but that price?

My tie helmet was supposed to come today but a late UPS trailer is causing a delay! Thinking of getting some 1.25" sump pump tubing from Home Depot. This will just be for display. Thoughts?
