Trailer looks interesting. I am hopeful for it. Fearful it won't be that good though.

Looks good. There were lots of naysayers about this one, but I'm sure the Marvel marketing juggernaut will change some of those minds. Rudd's comedic presence seems pretty toned down from what little we're seeing here.

I thought the trailer was decent. I'm sure they're holding back on the action sequences since they're likely unique to the character. I think the suit looks great and Rudd doesn't seem like a bad choice. When he took off on the flying ant I seriously got flashes of the comics. Hopefully it's pretty interesting due to his abilities etc.

Trailer was not bad. Rudd looks like he'll fit in if they roll him to the Avengers, and how many big brains can you have on the team. He'll be more of your "regular guy" type, which they don't have right now. Liked the suit and the flying ant EFX. So long as the writing and direction are crisp could be another winner. Gotta let Hank and Janet Pym go at this point as the rework is a fait accompli in the Marvel cinematic universe. The #1 thing I want to see come out of this movie, however, is Hope Van Dyne in a Wasp costume. I don't care if it's just in the final fight or even an after credits cameo. If they are planning it, Marvel is probably keeping it under wraps. Lilly is shown working out, so she's supposed to have fighting chops, plus she has the pageboy haircut.

I'm sure Fantastic Four will pop up at some point. Although every time I think about it I just shake my head.

I assumed this was why they went with Lang instead. He's got the potential to be the most relatable member of the team--not a genius, not a god, not a goody two-shoes like Cap, not a highly trained spy or special ops guy, not a robot or freaky mutant experimented on for years, etc.

They'll start promotion for F4 around six months before release just like this did. IMO it's incredibly refreshing not to have studios releasing copious amounts of info and even spoilers far in advance.

I'm still bummed about Edgar Wright's departure. As such, this movie will always be something of a "what if...?" story for me. That said, the trailer looks good and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited. Always liked Ant-Man in the comics and I'm a fan of Paul Rudd, so I'm in.

I think they should've put the whole "Is it too late to change the name" line right after the "huh?" bit and literally just end the trailer with Scott on the ant, which gave me chills by the way. It was good for a teaser and i'm sure they wanna save more of the shrinking scenes for the full trailer and the full film. I'm psyched for this. And I seriously hope that Hope becomes the MCU version of Wasp. She's got the Jan look down. But the best part of the trailer for me was seeing Cassie there! And they showed her more than I thought they would! Here's to hoping that a Young Avengers film comes down along the line, especially since we have Wanda and Vision in the AOU, so we can definitely see Billy and Tommy. Stature ftw!
