I didn't get a too much cgi vibe from it at all, you clearly haven't watched the Hobbit. :lol

Besides, when was the last time you rode an ant like a horse. :lol

I like the aesthetic of it but it didn't blow my mind like the AOU trailer did. I just hope he gets huge too and not just small.

I'm excited about this - more so because Edgar Wright was involved so here's to hoping a good part of his script is retained.

I'm not going to make a joke about your aunt right now. :)

The trailer didn't blow me away but I was watching it with a smile on my face just because Paul Rudd cracks me up and I kept just being amused that he was in it. I think casting him was pretty brilliant. To me it instantly makes this movie feel like an Anchorman/Judd Apatow superhero movie instead of some cookie cutter MCU thing (even if that's what it is.) His reaction to Michael Douglas gave me the impression that they were holding back on showing us how comedic its going to be.

The general tone we're getting with his being a convict, showing his kid, and the very low-key type of humor we did see, I'm wondering about that. That line is something you could imagine Evans Cap saying. I'm open to whatever they have in mind, but I think it could definitely work having Rudd play it pretty straight. If they want to go for an everyman that the audience can better relate to, then it would make sense not to make him a stand up comic like Tony Stark. And of course, we already have that comic relief in the MCU. On the other hand, RDJ's future with the franchise doesn't seem set in stone, and maybe they wanted to bring Rudd on, in part, as a means of filling the comedic gap.

Yeah, so if we have a scale, where the humorless *******, Dr. Strange type is a 1, and a stand up comedian like RDJ Stark is a 10, I'm thinking we'll get Rudd as a 6 or 7. Not Brian Fontana. If Wright was involved, he would probably be a 9 or 10.

6 or 7 sounds about right.
