Best family comedy ive seen this year (probably best marvel movie for me).
Funny with heart. Bit cheap and too flat visual wise outside of the fight scene.
Would have loved to see the Wright version.
OK flick.

missed the end credit scene can someone tel me what it was?
Thanks

Spiderman reference or anything in this? Cuz if not then please tell me the movie is atleast good as I ain't to hyped for this one but it still looks interesting.

Jury still out for me....it was a different feel on comic book films. It felt more "cute" with some forced humor and some good humor. I'll likely see it again to process but without a doubt not one of the best IMO. I did enjoy the second teaser after the credits......loved it!

Enjoyed the YJ suit in motion...also enjoyed the few surprises.....

I really loved this flick. To me one of the top Marvel films and I enjoyed it more then AOU. It was fun and it really was all I could hope for this movie. I enjoyed it as much as Guardians.

Ok, just got back.

I know I know, I can't be trusted because I wasn't disappointed with AOU.

But here goes.

If you're looking for a tighter MCU movie than AOU then this is your ticket.

Overall it was mostly good to sometimes great to sometimes eye rolling.

What stopped it from being entirely good or even great was the eye rolling humor.

There was one line near the end that I LOL out loud, but just like GOTG most of the humor fell flat or felt forced to me.

The good:

All the main actors
Original Antman and
Wasp mission
Action
Villain and his scheme (not lacking in menace although I would understand if some don't agree with this)
Yellow Jacket
Smooth MCU connection

The bad:

Most of the humor, especially with Rudd's crew.
Cops subplot although it led to that one funny line.
Did not feel attached to the ants as had been mentioned in some reviews

Overall solid entry into the MCU, nowhere the disaster it could've been after Wright's departure.

Pleasantly surprised. I really liked this movie. It had a lot of funny with a lot of heart. Rudd was great and so was his chemistry with Evangeline Lilly. Not to mention his rag-tag team of thieves, especially Michael Pena. Hilarious dialogues.:lol

I think I enjoyed it even more than the AoU.

Loved the Avengers references and cameos. Can't wait to see how he gets incorporated into the team.

Remember, there are 2 end credits in this!

Man you really have different tastes in movies. :lol The humor was good, much better than the 'language' joke in AoU.

Some of the humor was fine in this, but most weren't for me.

My favorite 2 funny parts were:

cops reaction to the giant ant and giant Thomas train, my son loved that

I was bummed that the Thomas train horn didn't toot like in the trailer when it went off the track.

LOVED IT!
9/10 and Marvel is back.
One of their best for sure! Much better movie than Ultron and Guardians. Stay until the end credits are over too. :)

JYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

You will like it better than AOU.

It is better than Terminator G.

I go to my Imax theater and it says Terminator G on the sign.

I advise the manager and she says that they are aware that the sign wasn't changed to Ant-Man but not to worry, Ant-Man would play.

Of course Terminator G started playing.

sigh

So good! Looked good in IMAX 3D but I look forward to seeing it in 2D, too. I love that they just went for it with the ants. I went in totally spoiler free so surprises like

Agent Carter and Howard Stark cameos, The flashback mission, the Avengers compound heist and Hope's Wasp suit were all cool and fit in the story well.

I thought all the actors were great. Douglas was a great Hank Pym. Corey Stroll was another rather forgettable villain other than in look (love that Yellowjacket suit) but was fine. Loved Scott's team. And Evangeline Lily reminded me why I like her so much.

A ton of fun. I want to see it again.
