Guys what was the second end credits scene?

One thing felt really stupid after
Pym dosnt want his daughther to put the suit on, he is so scared to lose her and then in the end tadaaaaaa here a suit for you.
Ok its expected but damn thats really bad writting .

Not really, he had his life changing moment.

All parents eventually have to let go.

Unless you're a SSF member, then you can live in your parents basement into your 50s. :lol

lol

yeah it makes sense but the way they brought it up, a post credit scene, no gravitas after all they went trough...
Felt more like oh **** we forgot something.
But its no dealbreaker.

My biggest head scratching issue with the movie:

Cross's ability to put on the Yellow Jacket suit and become an instant threat. Lang trained to both fight and understand the suit when / how to morph etc. Cross put it on and whammo....instant bad guy with all the know how he needed. Naturally many assumptions can be made to explain his ability to command the suit/morphing but it was a sticking point for me.

Watched it last night.

Wright was right to leave this picture. Not only was the plot completely underwhelming but it was also executed poorly. I didn't care about any of these people and it didn't help that Rudd was playing Rudd. God bless Michael Douglas and Corey Stoll for doing their best with this.

I keep telling people, Marvel/Disney aren't infallible. Their ongoing approach of turning off talented filmmakers was bound to bite them in the ass, again. Peyton Reed and Adam McKay shouldn't be doing superhero films. I don't blame those guys for this because they signed on weeks before production but this is what happens when you drive away an auteur like Edgar Wright.

6.5/10

The slow parts did bore my 7 year old though.

But then he would perk up when the action would kick in.

I do think that he will look at ants differently now. :lol

Big missed opportunity them not doing a "The Fly" homage by having him battle a spider.

Also not one other insect species was shown in the entire movie, that's BS. :lol

He's running thru the grass and nothing, c'mon.

I took my family to watch it just now, and they all loved it. I'd rate it a 8.5 out 10. Better than AOU for me that's for sure, which is give a 7 out of 10. And also better than GOTG. :lol

Story was light and quite a few funny moments, the kids will definitely enjoy this movie.

so hydra is still active?

Hmmm.... didn't feel that way at all to me. Seemed like a natural extension to the story arc between Pym and Hope.

I really loved it! I had a lot of fun watching this movie. Up there with IM & GotG for me.

I thought Rudd was just perfect as Scott Lang. He pitched it just perfectly imo. Great casting, as was Douglas as Pym.

There is something that has been bugging me about Ant-Man.

Big spoiler, don't click unless you enjoy ruining your movie. :lol

Talk about anticlimactic the way finding Bucky was handled, some cheap post credit scene

I saw this a couple of hours ago, it was alright I guess. The beginning was kinda weird with Douglas/Pym, didn't feel like a good opening. I would have opened it with Scott/Rudd in prison. The jokes were pretty good like the Baskin Robbins bit. I really liked his three friends. The Thomas Schiff guy from the Dark Knight with that crappy russian accent, the black guy, and Michael Pena's Louis. I loved when Louis is describing the job from the contacts he had and as the people talk in the flashback, he narrates. I thought that was funny and clever. Uhhhh, nothing else really stood out. I thought the ants were too weird and I just couldn't get into the story with how ridiculous the whole thing was. It was too formulaic for me.

Didn't think this was as good as Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy last year, but it was alright. I won't mind seeing Rudd as an Avenger.
