Man, I really loaded up on the deals from cornerstorecomics. I got 20% some stuff that was already 10% off MSRP.

For $550 shipped I got

Not a bad haul. I kept looking at some of those Environments at CSC but when I went to check out the 20% off code more or less was just equal to the cost of shipping! So it was really just like free shipping and that wasn't worth it to me. They wanted like $40 in shipping for the Jabba Archway

That is really good. I wonder why they were so jacked up on mine. I'm only in Utah so its not like they have to move across the entire country. Heck, I'm even closer to them then you are!

I'm the same way.

I was looking around at Yoda's Hut, but all the savings are wiped out by the shipping and sales tax.

Either way, the point is, these giant environment that Sideshow is making just boggle my mind. They're so huge, they're prohibitively expensive to ship, and they still have to cheat the scale at that.

I'm not exactly sure how I affored Jabba and his throne so many years ago, but I can only imagine I'm much wiser now in how I spend my money.

Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to shipping. During spooktacular SSC wanted to charge me $16 or more to ship 3 stands I wanted with my gift card. pfft.

Maybe my shipping is cheap from cornerstore is because i bought so much

I finally bit on Odin -- funny how $140 feels like a deal for Hot Toys these days. With Loki coming, I really feel like the people who held off on Odin will be after him.

Also bit on the Matty Collector Sale, picking up a couple of Zods and Luthor for customizing down the road. At $30 each, the price feels right.

I always love these sales because you can tell what's not selling and what the retailers want to blow out.

I'm pretty sure Scarface will drop even lower, as he was overproduced. BW made the first batch of 2000 to fill their orders, but because he was an overnight success, they made another batch of 2000, now he's sitting.

And of course, the Gamorrean Guards are sitting, AE blows out Gartogg, and BBTS blows out the reg.

And I love how the PF Jack Sparrow is pretty much the same price as the DX, haha.

Hopefully Yoda's Hut drops lower, I think about $180 is at low as it could go, hopefully it sits around that long.

I'd pay $180 for the hut. It would look awesome with HT Luke.
