Any new Hot Toys RAMBO figures on the way?

Ya, as far as sculpts and paints apps on the heads, I'd rank em:

1) Rambo 3
2) FB M65 Rambo
3) FB Rambo
4) Rambo 2

The quality, accurracy and attitude of the Rambo 2 perfectly reflect the character from the film. I imagine if they do a RAMBO version, it'll feature a similar attitude as John is very jaded in the movie. I do hope they make a fighting and M65 version from RAMBO also, both would be VERY treasured figures.

I agree with your list, my picks are exactly the same! If they did do a RAMBO version it would just be the one scenario, him in battle mode. I don't want to doubt Hot Toys on this one because we all did on the Rocky line and look what we're getting in a month or so.

I don't see them making a definitive FB Rambo, because to me that would be one that covers the whole film, and the M65 jacket is already perfect for that moment, so really, a battle Rambo from FG with a better sculpt is all they could and should do, and I'd be game if they did.

As for buying these, maybe hold off on FB if you think they might do another one, but really, if you can afford it, get them all, they all rock if you like Rambo enough. I have 4 Rambos and I'm hoping for a RAMBO figure or 2. I've considered Trautman a few times, but I'm hoping they'll do an FB 2 Trautman in his military fatigues or an Rambo 3 version, for $100 figures, FB Trautman isn't THE Trautman for me.

I actually meant a definitive "Battle" Rambo from FB. I agree the M-65 version is perfect for what it is. I really want a "battle" Rambo, and as nice as the original one is, there is definitely room for improvement, though I still wouldn't mind owning one. Damn, I really need me a Rambo figure right now...

After much thought, and comparing pics and reviews of the two FB versions, I think I've decided on the original, "battle" version. While the jacket version is perfect for what it is, he only appears that way in the movie very briefly.

While the first one isn't a perfect battle Rambo, he is a nice representation of what I feel is the character's most iconic look. The actual sculpt isn't THAT bad when compared to the jacket version. I think if it had a much better, more detailed paintjob like it the latter, it would be great (As it is, he looks too orange.) Right now, I only have the room and the money for one Rambo, and to me the first FB version is the most iconic. If HT does revisit the FIRST BLOOD version of Rambo, the first version might still retain it's value since it was the original.

When I get a better paying job, I'll still try to get the M-65 version, but for now, it's gonna have to be the original...




so do any of you know where I can get one at a good price?
