Anyone Else Feel Like Christmas has Lost it's Sparkle?

I forget where I saw it but Christmas Tree was replaced by the more PC "Holiday Tree"......Give me a break! It's a Christmas TREE! I don't put a tree for the Fourth of July Holiday!

Rory reminds me of my cranky neighbor as a kid.. We used to dare eachother to ride our bikes up her driveway then turn around and petal away.. She would come out her door and yell at us to get off her driveway

Kids and Christmas are great IMO.. w/o them I would be miserable like Rory..

Damn straight. I LOVE Christmas. I love decorating,the lights, the cold ass weather, the family get togethers, football on TV, lit up tree... I love wrapping the presents, watching the smiles on the faces of those you bought for. It's a great time of year.

No Santa, no reindeer, no X-mas tree just a "winter based theme".

Doesn't stop the kids from talking about Christmas (as they know it). We encourage conversations to allow everyone to appreciate and accept cultural diversity. In the past 99% of her class was Christian based so it was discussions about Jesus, St Nick etc. Last few years there has been more and more diversity in the classroom, so we have to watch our p's and q's.
