To those depressed fools, if you wanna see Pandora, go to Hawaii. Take a tour of all the islands, go hiking, camping, etc. There ya go! A lot of the film was shot in Hawaii. Avatar is my second favorite movie of the year (behind the Hurt Locker) but I think some of the Avatar forum stuff is ridiculous (unless it's all a joke, in which case it is brilliant).

Man just think what if the whole avatar fanbase commited a mass suicide. The movie would be forever scarred. Thank goodness for sparkely vampire fans to make them seem sane lol.

But they can't sleep with Neytiri in Hawaii, speak fluent Na'vi with the natives, or listen to the trees talk to them. I'm serious. Go read some more of those forums. And I'm 99.99999% sure that they are serious, sadly. I doubt any fanbase is clever enough to devise a joke this good. :lol

I'm thinking that some of the pustules that are literally getting depressed because Pandora isn't real might become indignant about perceived Oscar snubs. :lol Just wait...

It isn't quite awards season on the boards yet, but if TDK is any indication ..... :google

Haha. It'd be on cult specials on the History Channel ... Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate, the Scientologists, and the Avatarians.

Some people get caught up in other peoples imaginations. Much like the 3D spectacles, these people wear rose coloured glasses. They don't care to see the bad side, the mundane side. They just see the gloss and constantly look elsewhere to derive their pleasure in their "greener on the other side of the fence" world. Once faced with, what they think is the object of their desires, they soon realise they have to look into themselves, and find emptiness. They find themselves alone. In a strange world. Reminiscent of history repeating itself.

Oh and about the fuzzy boobs. That's a fallacy (sp). I can tell you the fuzzy bit is further down. Let the real fallacy (sp) now rise. That Neytiri is hot isn't she. I'll just impose my immoral fantasies on the latest Celeb-u-Crush-of-the-moment and splatter it on the nets and concrete it solidly into Fail. What? No banjo? Fail.

I feel I'm about to endure a Subdural hematoma, so I'll just say this. That Barney Rubble. What an actor.

Please note--I wasn't implying that he should get a professional to come in and help service his wife. (Although you could read my post that way, and the wife might have to resort to that if the dude doesn't get his act together.)

Me too, so I'm runnin' with you, Keith!

I'll run with you Sam! :rock:rock:rock

Seriously it had a better story (Even though you knew what was going to happen.) One could make the case that you knew what was going to happen in Avatar. However, In Titanic I cared about the characters. I mean I really felt for Jack and Rose and I will admit that movie made me cry the first damn 3 or 4 times I watched it. The part at the end when Rose finally dies of old age and Jack is at the top of the steps (in death) waiting for her to arrive just killed me inside. I was like I want that kind of love one day.
