My order arrived 2 days ago. Just missing a display riser but that will be coming soon. Was not too difficult to assemble. Built this today, 3 x 165 Sixth with the LED lights. Much needed upgrade over the Ikea Masjlo. The 3rd one was way easier than the first case ha. I have another 3 level case to build on my next day off, then the mass statue rearrangement and displaying all the new ones. So far so good and worth the wait.

Welcome to the world of Moducase builders!

Amazing how they transform a room, eh?

I'm 3 cases into the 7 DF120's to build and have one front cover just like this one so far 😔

You might try using a 5 minute epoxy to glue that. It’ll do well enough until your replacement arrives.

Don’t use super glue as that will make the clear plastic “glaze.” You’ll get a cloudy translucent aura for several inches around the break.

Other than that it all looks good!

(You do get a lot better at assembling them after the first two or three.)

Thanks! Yeah, that 3rd one went a lot faster and already well into my 4th.

Happy to report no damage to mine, thankfully.

All that’s left is to run the LEDs and await my 2024-2025 purchases, which happens to be more than I currently own.

In total, the goal is 25 collectibles
stored spaciously in a DF1801.
Being sure to limit figures to 9 per DF120
A row of 5 upfront, 4 raised behind.

Absolutely love them though, the black is such a sleek touch and love the amount of space they provide, will never look back to the Detolf.

Going to order a second DF120 back half shelf, love how thick the plexiglass is on those.

Maybe it won’t be too noticeable or noticeable at all once you glue it since it’s on the black trim and doesn’t interfere with the display area. Then maybe store the replacement as a backup in case something more serious happens to one of the front panels in the future
That's a good idea. Worst case situation if I ever drop one when removing and it snaps in half, I would have a much more salvageable one to replace. Just two more to go to look at to make sure they are fine.

I would not recommend that anyone order the toppers. All four of the ones I ordered are damaged on the corners and two of those with dents on the surface. I'm hoping to be able to just get a refund on those. I have no trust that those could ever arrive undamaged, so don't want to even hassle with trying to replace.

Mine also came dinged up as well. Meh! I guess I will make a new topper for them at some point. One more Sixth 165 and 98 to finish my 2nd stack. These things are awesome. How do you turn your lights on and off? I am trying to figure out a set up and coming up with nothing. Thanks for the help y'all!

Man I hate to see three of you guys with damaged goods when we all received ours in the same week. Fortunately, replacements don’t take long wait times like the initial order does.

My LEDs are now installed, looks brilliant!
Couldn’t ask for a better looking display.

I use an Amazon smart plug and just turn the display on and off via my voice, Alexa app on my IPhone or the echo show 15 in my kitchen, very convenient, would never reach behind this massive case to turn it on and off everyday.

Bummer indeed Nick. Awesome!! Thanks I am going to try the Hue smart plug first since I my whole house is on the Hue Lights. If it does not work then I will go the same route you did. Thanks for the help!

No worries man,
I like Philips Hue as well for lighting!

So nice being able to change the color temperature and brightness while you’re sitting at the dinner table having a meal.

Ideal for when you want a bright kitchen while cooking or having guests over,
yet relaxing and doesn’t feel like you’re eating in a school cafeteria when you dim them to eat.

Finished everything except my half shelves. Had just the 1 broken front cover, all 4 of my toppers busted up, and the bottom base board on the felt side of my DF60 has a big dent in it. I haven't checked my half shelves yet.

Overall, the display turned out sleek and amazing. Very clean looking. I love it!

They are really sleek aren’t they man,
just can’t beat the black + felt aesthetic.
These cases pair so well with the Batman IP.

Looking forward to how you set everything up.
Also really like the blackout basement ceiling.
