Tell me about it. Almost everything out in theater is a remake!!! hollywood has no originality which caused me to resort to ebay and buy Foreign films :chew

i agree there really is no originality with movies anymore, especially in the action and horror genres. i think i will try writing my own horror movie someday it cant be any worse than the toolbox murders (which i unfortunately sat through the other night)

I saw a press screening of the Omen last night. It was ok, cheap thrills with the use of music and sound but is worth checking out on a matinee. Also there are a few Final Destination moments in the flick that seem out of place. The actors were all good, even the kid but I think Julia Stiles seemed a little young to be a mother. Also it was nice to see Mia Farrow as the nanny for lil' old Damien. :chew :chew :chew out of 5.

I won't be seeing "Omen" but I would love to see "Amen"--a theatrical version of the sitcom featuring superstar Sherman Hemsley and Clifton Davis.

Why no Omen Tom? Also Amen was a really good show. I remember the controversy over the episode where Sherman Helmsley was semi nude in a scene where he had his clothes ripped off and just two briefcases on him, one for his ass and one to cover his junk. Good stuff.
