I'm gonna be crucified for this but after looking at pictures of Affleck in the BvS suit, that custom head doesn't look any closer than the stock one.

looks just like a recast of the stock cowl. facepaint is nicer but those eyes ruin it lol.

Yea I’m still debating if I need that Topo HS. I’m still waiting for pics of the desert version before i decide what I want to do with this invoice.

Definitely an improvement, but it looks like a bored Ben during a promotional photoshoot.

The sculpt itself reminds me a lot of the Prime1 1/2 BvS Batfleck.

Mine should be arriving in a week or two - might just go for the Hot Toys 2.0 eventually.

I'm a very fresh member so don't hold that against me please. This is only my second post after my intro one.

I've received my TOPO sculpt today - I think it's definitely an improvement. Not quite a 2.0 but let's say a good 1.5. Really hope the 2.0 from HT or the future Inart one will give us a better reproduction of this magnificent suit.

Things I like:

• The more natural paint on the mouth
• Unlike the hot toys the mouth part is sculpted and not removable so there's no gap between the mask and the skin
• The texture on the cowl is a bit more leathery and 'dull', to me it looks a bit more realistic. Always thought the HT one was a bit too shiny
• The eyes are not as far back as in the original HT
• The brow/frown sculpt is less over the top than HT which to my eyes look a bit more accurate to the movie
• The head is slightly narrower which i think is more accurate also

Things I don't like:

• Vacant eyes/expression
• Mouth part might be a bit too long, but that only shows in certain angles

Attaching some pictures of the original and the TOPO, tried to be as fair as possible in the comparison shot.

I think it's really a sculpt that looks better in real life than in picture.

I’ve just got TOPO Batman BvS head sculpt it’s ok for money
It is better than original HT’s one but not a great deal better.

The more I look at the new Hot Toys Batman, I'm not sure it's really an upgrade but more a lateral move.

The abs are more accurate, but no definition in the legs, almost like they are baggy pants. Yes, the old Hot Toys looked bad too, but this needs to be fixed for me to slap down $350 for the new one.

The neck is too long.

Honestly, if I knew how to fix the legs and loaded diaper of v1, there's no reason to keep this pre-order.

Yes it's been discussed.... some aspects are less accurate than 1.0 and a lot of the updates are still just as inaccurate as 1.0. The neck and body proportions suck most of all.

Really hoping Inart will nail the rock hard looking body and proportions. HT's just looks too round and bubbly, no hard edges and definition like it should. The cowl accessory they did is already better than HT's 2.0 cowl.

As someone who doesn't own the 1.0, im ecstatic for this. Now Inart has revealed theirs, chances are that should be better but we won't see that until 2027 or so, those who haven't PO and dont mind waiting can hold off. But for the price this is not bad at all.

They announced Legolas years ago as well. Never showed anything until a week before it went up for pre-order.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put their Batfleck up for preorder late this year. (I also wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't go up until well into next year.)
