Got mine in today, ordered it Monday, thats the fastest shipping I have ver gotten from SS. And even stranger yet is it came by Fed Ex?!!??!?! Havent gotten a Fed Ex shippment since SS switched.

Any way, this figure kick some major butt. I also have the Scar Predator and I have to say, even though they are VERY similar, that I like the Elder much more. Had a much better time putting him together this time. My Scar took me close to an hour to get done, had the Elder doone in about 20 mintues! That is until I relized i had to glue all his quills in place!!!!! MAJOR PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!! Although I had a fun time doing it!

Aother awesome piece by HT. I really wish I could aford to own more Ht figures. Aside from the week paint apps and poor facial likeness' they make great figures!!!

A 4 star figure!!!!

Oh and what ever his cape is made out of SS needs to start making their Jedi robes of the same material. I think the would lay much more natural in this material!

I got mine on Halloween. He's a great figure! Really love the cape material. I'm still not sure what to do with the quills. I want to glue them on but I haven't found good source pictures of where they should go. I tried test fitting a couple only to drop them and never find them again -- they bounce and I swear they are camaflouged colored!

First thing I did was remove those clips in the helmet so I could fit the helmet on his head -- but it was too small to fit on his slack jawed expression -- well it kinda sorta fits but... I found that it fits on my Celtic's face. And that with no quils, my Celtic's helmet fits on Elder's face, but I'd rather Elder could wear his own helmet.

Please post some pics of the quill work when you get a chance!

Sideshow's sight said these were "14" model kit poseable figure". Do you have to put them together?

Boy do you ever have to put them together. The first one can be a PITA until you learn how. Scar's mesh is 10 times harder to put on that any other one because it seems to be slightly smaller. They wised up and made the mesh larger for Celtic and Chopper.

They are definitely a pain in the but to put on. If you looks closely at the head you can see the small holes were the quills are intended to go. I just sat under a bright lamp, got a pair of tweezers, some super glue and went to town. I small dab on the end of the quill and put them in place. It took me twice as long to get the quills done than it took me to put the whole damn thing together. I will try to get a camera so I can post some pix of his head. Its not hard, it just takes a steady hand and some patience.

I have an Elder on the way, as well as an Alien Warrior, Chopper, and the SS Exclusive Elder. I just gotta wait till the store I ordered from gets them in.

Here a couple pix of the Elder Pred.

Heres a close up on the placement of the quills. You can also add them between the mandable/mouth chin area, but I didnt. I may still do it though.

No it wasnt "hard", it just took a long time and you have to have a kinda steady hand, which I dont have. I took me longer to put on the quills than it took me to put the whole thing together.

Good job with the quills and thanks for the pics. I'm installing them in shifts. I keep dropping them and I'm not sure I am using the best glue for the job...
