Tomorrow I get charged, and then it's time for the waiting game.

I hope this thing arrives in one piece. I can't wait to photograph it alongside my Foulkes Apatosaurus. They should get along nicely.

The thing that will make this piece so difficult to find a place for is the length. Top of the display case is the only place I can fit it. I literally have no where else.

Yeah a table top, shelf top..it has to pretty much be on top of something..most people don't have bookcases that size..lol

Its going to be interesting to see what they've done to protect the tail in transit.

Seriously..I honestly can't figure a way around it..unless it's rubber or something so far down..or something similarly pliable to avoid breakage.

They might just pack it in really tight styrofoam..but I'll be on the look out for hairline cracks aside obvious big breaks.

My thinking is that they'll have the little foam blocks on each side and then have those in the styrafoam to keep the whole thing from shifting.

Well, since Sideshow for some reason charged the wrong card, which I do not use anymore, payment was declined. I'll have to wait until Monday to notify them of this. I guess waiting another week or so won't hurt.

I personally think this will come in one piece. I know people think the tail is really long and thin, but it's really not . In fact that's one of the things that disappointed me at first. The fact that it didn't have a whip at the end of the tail. Rather it just tappers down to the tip. I still love the hell out of this piece, and I can't wait to get it.

In the production video it showed them attaching the head and neck..that's def a joint. Whether it will cast as one piece though... :?

Ok, I just saw the specs again. Some time ago I thought the box was smaller than the statue which is why I thought it was going to be 2 pieces. But now that I see it again, the box is 51 inches long! So it's definitely 1 piece. Wow, I have NO IDEA how I am going to display this, but I can't wait to get it.
