Apatosaurus Maquette

Well this blows.

I hope they come out with the Apatosaurus, as I love the sculpt, and it would complete my Apatosaurus statue wants. I'd have liked to see a full reveal of the Stegosaurus, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.


Let's hope for the best.

Yeah it's all we can do I'm afraid. It could be why they've been so silent and not showing things or answering questions ( I've asked about 10 questions in the " Ask SS ) section... not one Dinosauria related question has been answered since last year.

Pre-orders have been canceled by other companies before so I don't feel confident til I see something is shipping is all.. :/

I think the best thing to do is call them on the phone. The only way you'll get an answer through the ask Sideshow section, is if it relates to Marvel or Star Wars.

I think we'll get the Apato eventually, unless the problems with it are so extensive that even this close to shipping it is more cost effective to scrap it. I just can't imagine that being the case.

Sadly, I'm starting to think we're not going to see my beloved Stegosaurus. The delays on the Apato should not prevent them from putting up the steg for pre-order. At the very least teasing us so we know its coming.

I dunno, I may cancel the Apato. It's so big and if the line is done I might prefer to put the 300 bucks towards something else...

They should expect cancellations at this point.

Unless the prototype was damaged really bad during shipping or something...maybe every test one they've mailed arrived broken with that tail or something ?

Why not just release another piece while this is being pushed back though ?

It would be a good centerpiece to the collection of course...if it gets released.

Same here..the next comparable piece is prob Jon Rader's or Foulke's versions..those will be VERY pricey to have built and painted though. :/

All I know is Sideshow says credit cards will charged on the 12th, if you've ordered one it should be shipping to you directly soon after.
