Great display case you have there~! I hope it doesn't have any problems withstanding those massive statues (as Dan is concerned above)...

The Apatosaurus seems to dwarf the Camarasaurus (which itself is quite large), and it really makes me want mine to arrive earlier.....

Hello my good friends! I was also skeptical about resistance than glass. Glass thickness is 7 mm. Sure would be bent glass, if I not put the middle piece of glass from floor to achieve a resistance to the task!:cuckoo::lecture:exactly::rotfl

Hello! Some new pictures of Apatosaurus and Allosaurus vs. Camarosaurus. Too bad it rained, and I could not take pictures outside: (

Hello friends! I received very bad news: (. Dinosaurs, complete with transport cost me 320 euros, and now the dealer said as returned only 20 euros for broken tail. (320 euros is about 430 USD): (
That's the situation, I had a great bad luck:slap
PS: I ask for the last time, you have to choose between:
Protoceratops vs. Velociraptor, or Deinosuchus vs Parasaurolophus?who?...I want to buy a statue! :)

The Protoceratops vs. Velociraptor has sharper detail, greater accuracy, and paleontological significance. The Deinosuchus vs. Parasaurolophus is sold out however, so if you find one that's available, I would get it first. It's already fetching higher than retail prices on eBay.

Hello Dan! Both versions are available! What would you choose?:lol:cuckoo:
PS:pS: Dan, please tell me why it takes so long to launch the next series SideShow Dinosauria? . Many months, to appear, Stegosaurus :(.That's their strategy?

If you are able to get both versions, I would definitely go for the Deinosuchus vs. Parasaurolphus, because it's nearly impossible to get anywhere else. Even if you decide you don't like it, you can sell it later and make a little extra money.

To answer your other question, I don't really know why the Dinosauria seems to be decelerating. This is most likely the product of strategic business moves on Sideshow's part. It doesn't make sense to rapidly release products that sell with only moderate speed. This isn't Star Wars, after all.

I don't mind so much, as long as the line continues. The decrease in speed for this line, allows me to fund other paleoart, such as kits, prints, etc. from self employed artists. :D

Try to get the spino, it´s a great statue because of it´s size and aggressive pose. I think it would look very cool in your new display.

Just placed my order for the Exclusive Apato with Sideshow. Keeping my fingers crossed that my Apato will arrive with no damage.

Hello everyone! Thank you for your suggestions, but still go on Protoceratops VS Velociraptor Diorama version, because as Dan said, has a value much higher, paleontological! At this staueta got a better offer, because the problem with cracked tail Apatosaurus!
Anyway, what I know is that next year 100% going to preorder Stegosaurus. And I know 100% that will not command is Parasaurulophus Herd Diorama because it has some horrible colors:mad::(

in my opinion the t-rex ist the best model in the dinosauria line, but i like the peaceful expression of this giant...:inlove

Same here, the T.rex is my fav so far. Not only is it highly accurate (in modern standards), but the subtle details are amazing and makes the whole statue look convincingly 'alive' without the excessive use of dynamic action and posture....

I agree with the both of you. T-rex maquette still reigns supreme in the Dinosauria line. I will say, the base is the worst of the bunch. The original base would have been awesome, yet they went the cheap route.:( Even the prototype base, of the base we received, looks way better. The paint job on the Tyrannosaurus, however, looks amazing. I wish Sideshow would put as much effort into painting all their Dinosauria statues, as they did with the T-rex maquette.:slap

Frankly, I like huge T-Rex Maquette , but I do not understand why it's head into a brick red paint?:(. This, I think, that hurt a little bit of the final look!:horror What can I say about my modest collection, is that dinosaurs are very detailed, but the colors seem a little dull!:slap Maybe if they used those colors as vivid prototype was much better!:lecture:exactly: I think that prototypes are painted by some painters, more skilled! :exactly:If, is to watch every statue in hand, discover more defects painting. I say this because I come from a family of painters!
Again, details of the sculpture are amazing, but painting is from a scale of 1-10, somewhere in the 7!:lecture
I hope I did not bother anyone, it was just strictly a personal opinion!
PS-PS-You are right ,related strategy to sell two dinosaurs in a year is really a good idea, because they are extremely expensive and people could not afford to buy the whole collection!:exactly::lecture
