Thy best superhero movie of all time. Storm had a small role but her scenes were awesome. The futuristic scenes paralleled and married the 2 stories together well. This movie is brilliant. Hats off to Jennifer Lawerence Michael Fassbender James McAvoy...

This is not a spoiler but according to the director something happens in this film that sparks the emergence of the next film Apocalypse. I think I know what it was.. but not sure

But a great movie none the less. Best x-men movie to date, but I don't think it will hold the title for very long. Teehee

Quicksilver DoFP Kicks Ass (get it?!) Avengers Quicksilver square in the nuts

Have to remind myself to stay out of this thread if everyone is gonna keep talking about the end of the movie. Won't get to see it until next week.

I won't get to see it until blu-ray release so...

If you want to talk about the movie in a statue thread USE SPOILER TAGS!
I avoid the movie threads for a reason.

To everyone's credit so far, it's public knowledge the next film uses Apocalypse as the main villain so it's no wonder something in this movie would tie into things that will happen in the next, like the director says, there's a few things... Rulk didn't exactly say any one of those things, he said he thinks he knows, and all he said was Apocalypse' real name, something fans already know... Having seen this movie, I'm still not sure how several things here tie into the next movie, but there's a few surprises in this flick I wouldn't ruin for anybody... Quite a few questions get raised because of what happens in this movie.

That said I'd avoid anything X-Men related on the internet because I wouldn't want any of the surprises ruined if I were you.

I've made sure to not mention anything! Just saying I liked something if it was already posted about!

I would never spoil a movie or show! Unless it's been out for 90+ days. Then I tend to not worry.

Give it 'til Blu-ray release please :lol

Some of us invest in home theatre systems for a reason.

I won't spoil it. Haha Promise man. I am a movie FANATIC. I never wait until bluray, but I understand. I also invested in a movie theater system at a young age.

Yeah I prefer watching at home but would love to see movies on release at the cinema.
Unfortunately due to family circumstances that isn't an option.

Completely understand. When I have a family. I'm planning out movie nights like 6 months ahead. Grandma is going to be busy! Hahahaha

And once the kids are 5, they're going! Haha I will force my family to be comic and movie fans!

All joking aside, a family is a great thing and worth the sacrifices. What kinda set up you have as a him theater

I still have a drive in near my place. I saw Godzilla there last week. I bring the Dodge Grand Caravan, collapse the seats and make it a portable daycare. My daughter can play or fall asleep in the back and my wife and I can enjoy the movie.

Going to the theatre is just not convenient with a 20 month old kid though. I saw Winter Soldier with my dad but that leaves out my wife as she stayed home with the kid.

Plus my son is arriving sometime in August so I am not out of the woods for some time.

That sounds great Snad.

Unfortunately my son suffers with Autism and leaving him with anyone isn't an option.
I could go without my wife but that's not fair and I prefer to wait for the Blu-ray and the whole family can watch.
My six year old son has a larger DVD collection than me and better Marvel knowledge :lol

Ya you can't leave your son out of it man. Especially since he is that into it. My 5.1 sound system mysteriously got disconnected in lieu of having daycare like toys scattered every where in the living room. When I asked my wife about it, she was coy about it all. I'll have to rejig it eventually. Just hasn't been a priority. I do miss my rears and subwoofer.

Yeah. That's a great thing for you to do. The experience is much better with your family and friends.

Yeah, right now I have a 55 inch tv with the works surround sound wise. When I move into a new place the tv will go in the bedroom, and I am getting an HD projector for the living room!
